Scene 1
The episode begins at the scene of a Bollywood-styled dance taking place at a launching function of one Global Mobiles (for God's sake director sir, what's the need for such scenes? 🤢🤢 👎🏼). The company's CEO Karan Kumar is called forward and he introduces the Global Mobile model X4 to the media. Suddenly a lady arrives there, hugs Karan and says she's his wife Radhika and he's been eluding her for 2 years, even changed his address and phone number. Karan doesn't recognize her and says some rival company must've sent her to spoil their function. Radhika hands him two slaps, which infuriates him and he demands her to prove her claims. She says he's got two moles on his backside. The media starts getting interested and Karan storms off.
Scene 2
Karan enters his house in a foul mood and is confronted by his real wife Anita, who suspects him of infidelity and had him followed by a spy, and demands who that lady is. They start fighting and Karan points out that the lady called herself Radhika, who was his first wife and died 2 years ago. Karan gets a phone from his office and leaves. His mother comes out in confusion, Anita takes off some steam on her and storms off.
Scene 3
The lady claiming to be Radhika returns to her hotel, and we see a man spying on her and following her. He ambushes her in the corridor and tries to strangle her, but she fights back and demands to know if her husband sent him. The man slashes her with a knife and runs away.
Scene 4
We see Freddy sir and Pankaj on the road. (As I skipped the scene, my request to watch it on YT if interested. Apologies.)
Scene 5
We see Radhika in the CID bureau with Daya sir, Freddy sir, Sachin sir, Shreya, Pankaj and Divya. Daya sir praises her for bravely fighting off the attacker and Sachin sir says there are no records of him in their database. Radhika suspects Karan for having sent the goon and explains how he insulted her at the function. She asks them to accompany her to Karan's house, where she'll explain everything.
Scene 6
The same team arrives at Karan's house and the cops ask Radhika to wait in the car until the call her. Karan and his uncle Jatin greet them claiming to have just returned home, and the team asks for a word with Anita. They go upstairs and find Anita dead in the washroom. Daya sir asks them to look for clues and goes down to talk to a devastated Karan. He asks Freddy sir to call his mother Sudha. Freddy sir finds her unconscious and Daya sir calls for an ambulance immediately. Daya sir and Sachin sir suspect Karan and Jatin, and decide to interrogate them.
Scene 7
Shreya examines Anita's corpse and finds blood in her nose and ears, and there are no signs of a struggle. Pankaj suspects someone must've poisoned her food. He finds some weird-looking green powder on the floor there and they find it suspicious.
Scene 8
Daya sir and Sachin sir are seen questioning Karan and Jatin. They say their servants were sent out that day to help in the renovation of their Panvel farmhouse, and they're not back yet. Sachin sir finds this suspicious. Apparently Karan last saw Anita alive at 1:00 PM before he went out with Jatin to meet their lawyer, and then returned at 4:00 PM and entered the house with their own keys, and within five minutes the CID team arrived there. Daya sir asks if they didn't meet Sudha and Anita in those five minutes. Jatin says Sudha usually slept at that time so they didn't check up on her, but Karan did go upstairs. Karan claims he had to come down halfway up here as his phone began to ring. Daya sir doesn't believe either of them. Shreya and Pankaj come to hand over the green powder sample, which Karan and Jatin don't recognize. Daya sir sends it to be tested. Karan and Jatin request to go to the hospital and meet Sudha, but Daya sir denies it and says they still need to question them about Radhika.
Scene 9
Shreya brings in Radhika and as expected, tempers flare up. Radhika accuses Karan of sending the assassin after her and Karan accuses her of murdering Anita. Karan shows them a photo of the real Radhika on the wall and explains that she died in an accident 2 years ago, and says this lady is a fraud. Daya sir notes that the girl in the photo looks totally different from her. Radhika recounts how she and Karan had went trekking in July 2013 and a girl fell fatally down a cliff there, that girl was her only. She says Karan lied about having tried to find her. She says she managed to survive and it took her two years to recover, and her face was destroyed so one Dr. Puneet gave her this new face. Karan calls her a liar. Daya sir says they'll soon find out the truth.
Scene 10
In the forensic lab, Dr. Salunkhe performs some tests and explains to Daya sir, Freddy sir, Sachin sir and Shreya that the green powder is some sort of industrial bleaching agent and was present in Anita's bathing water. Apparently this chemical in large quantities causes the blood vessels to inflame and burst. Shreya says there was no bucket in the washroom, so the chemical must've been mixed in the shower. Salunkhe sir says Sudha was poisoned with a chemical named methanone, which can permanently paralyze a human (oh, please 🥱).
Scene 11
At Karan's house, the suspects say they too bathed with water from the same tank but they're unaffected. Karan suspects their servants who claim they were at the Panvel farmhouse. The team checks the shower for the chemical and the test turns out positive. All of them go upstairs and Daya sir sends Pankaj to get the forensic kit so they can check the water tank. He suspects the homies of poisoning the water there, since nobody else has access to the place. Jatin says a plumber had come there last week, but Daya sir says the killer clearly mixed the poison when Anita was in the shower. Daya sir finds a large plastic sack in the tank, connected to its lid with a thread which leads down the terrace. The water tests positive for the poison. Daya sir construes the killer was downstairs with the thread in hand and when Anita entered the shower, they broke the thread which led to the poison dissolving in the water and entering the shower. They go downstairs to question locals in case anybody saw anything.
Scene 12
The team questions a vegetable vendor near the house, who recalls the seeing one of the servants loitering outside an unusual lot that day, and phoning someone. Pankaj brings the servants and the vendor recognizes the one as Vikram. Under threat, Vikram confesses that the plumber Bablu had bribed him 20,000 rupees to pull the thread and get the chemical into the shower. Daya sir arrests him and demands him for Bablu's address.
Scene 13
Sachin sir and Divya visit Bablu's house where his wife says he's gone out for work. Sachin sir requests for some water and when she goes inside, he sees Bablu's plumbing kit inside and realizes she's lying to them. They accept the water from her and leave without saying much. Jayawanti arrives there disguised as a Hinglish-speaking girl and starts shouting outside Bablu's house accusing him of having stolen some expensive pipe from her house. Bablu watches from hiding and finally comes out to clarify he's not done any such thing. Sachin sir catches him and Bablu confesses he didn't know the sack contained poison. He'd apparently been called from some hotel and offered 50 thousand bucks for the deed. Sachin sir demands which hotel this was.
Scene 14
Daya sir and team visits the hotel, and show Bablu's photo to the receptionist saying he'd come there to collect a packet from one of their guests. She checks the records and sees that on 25th September, the guest staying in room 209 had left a parcel for Bablu. She says she saw this person going into the coffee house there. The team goes there and finds Karan. They also find Radhika there and Karan claims to have come to settle everything with her. Jayawanti says they've talked to plastic surgeons near the accident spot and she's indeed Radhika. Daya sir accuses her of faking helplessness and murdering Anita and attacking Sudha. A waiter brings water for Radhika and upon drinking it, she starts having seizures. The team realizes the water was poisoned and calls an ambulance for Radhika. Daya sir catches the phony waiter, who turns out to be Jatin. Daya sir hands him a tight slap.
Jatin confesses he had convinced Karan 2 years ago to throw Radhika off the cliff. He spiked Sudha's food too. When Radhika didn't die, he tried to turn everyone against her and even got Anita killed giving blood money under Radhika's name. He says he did this for revenge against Sudha, who's his step sister and had been trying to usurp all his property. She also murdered his child in hospital, so Karan was able to inherit everything. Daya sir says his deeds were no better either, and he and Karan will now be punished by the law.
