Nobody ever gets over their weaknesses permanently.
With passing time they learn to control those weaknesses and learn to be not dicatated by those weaknesses.

Did any character turn over night negative in BV?

DSa is a cunning manipulative lady and a bully - whether she was doing good or not she has always been the same she used her negative triats for the good of people as well as to get her way with others.

Jagya is an immature spoilt brat who is impulsive some what self centred  but good at heart. the spoilt selfish brat ruled for some time and created havoc in everyone's life till life taught him lessons that he never forgot and now he knows the value of things he got in life

Anop was a proud soldier who felt out of sync with the current world in his bid to catch up with the rest of the world he hurt his family a lot and even crossed the line before good sense dawned on him

Same happened with Khazan he was angry with Dsa and to do out perform her in life he took wrong path and came back.

All of them had good reasons to turn bad or good.

Mangala had been shown to be driven by a single factor as far as her relationship with that girl is concerned so it is quite expected of her to go as far as she can to keep the child with her.Mangala has never been shown to be entirely positive or else why would people feel that she would a bigger hurdle in Anandi's path that leads to her daughter?

Since everyone is drawing Yashoda anamoly, I would like to say my two cents.

If Mangala is Yashoda, then Akheraj cant be Kans. Mangala should have been Devki.

But Krishna in Yashoda's care did not undergo what Nimboli underwent. Yashoda loved him more than her own son and saw to it he got everything without any torture.

Mangala is a somewhat Yashoda  because Kans decided to live under the same roof.

Even Anandi is not Devki beacuse she was not imprisoned but her Krishna was snatched by Kans.

As Kans is behind bars, Krishna has to choose who to call mother. Let us leave the decision to Krishna.

Just now I was listening various lovely singers sing that beautiful telugu song Tellavara vachche teliyaka na swamy. Utterly melodious. Waking up Krishna who was still sleeping.

It is quite obvious that the promo is being released in bits and pieces to give an idea what the story is likely to be.😛

Krishna in Yashoda's care was subjected to attacks right from he was an infant and continued to fight with various demons till he remained in Yashoda's care. He remained illiterate and was subjected to child labour since the time he was old enough to take the cows to pastures/jungle for grazing. Not a life he deserved. What Nimboli suffered at the hands of Akhera and Harki is different from Krishna story though and when Mangla said she is yashoda - it was only in context of herself and the girl. She was not saying who is Kans etc.

Anandi is a giver than a snatcher. She will do what is in the best interest of Nimboli.

The best interest of Nimboli may not be exactly the best interest of Mangala.

@bold - Not necessarily. If she always did the best for nimboli, Nandini wouldn't be in this position today. 😛

The story is beautiful and is open for various interpretations.

And a lot of characters changed overnight. Be it DS or Anup. Even J was changed from bad to good in just one scene - when he accepted that he did railway ghotala. Everybody accepted that J has changed. Sanchi also changed (even her clothes also) overnight. I don't clearly remember DS changes but perhaps she was bad till Anandi was sent to maika at 13 and became good when Anandi returned.

Yes, she did best for Nimboli with some conditions. Not unconditional.

I think in Krishna times, even Kundans would have gone to graze the cows.

I think Yashoda is only with reference to Mangla not being biological mother. Yashoda also gave whatever she could to the child and was resistant when she learnt that this child belongs to someone else. In north India - such interpretations are common.
