his first progeny, Lucien

The Original siblings might've done away with their parents " and that one evil aunt " but what happens when the tables are turned, and suddenly their children come to town?

That's the premise of the third season of The Originals, when The Trinity comes to town. The Trinity, of course, is made up of the first vampire Klaus ever sired, the first vampire Elijah ever sired, and the first vampire Rebekah ever sired. Long story short, there's a sire line war erupting and these vamps probably have a lot to say.

And when it comes to Klaus' progeny, Lucien (played by Andrew Lees), things are, well, complicated. "We learned how to make vampires when my sire was created," Joseph Morgan tells EW. "There's definitely a bond there. We owe each other a lot."

But despite the fact that Lucien's arrival will feel a bit like an old friend coming to town, we can't forget the fact that Klaus left this guy behind at some point ... along with pretty much every other vampire he turned (other than Marcel). "There's also this element that it's not just the three of them but they're in contact with a lot of the sire line for each of us so it's like, Hey, remember us? All those vampires that you turned who you've now abandoned? Well guess what, we're not too happy about that and here's why,'" Morgan says.

Speaking of the complicated relationship, EW has an exclusive first look at Klaus reuniting with his progeny, who's described as a smart, charming, wildly successful guy who prides himself on being two steps ahead of everyone. Sound like anyone you know?

Lees will recur as Lucien when season 3 of The Originalspremieres Thursday, Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.

season, new drama. That's what fans of the hit CW series "The Originals" should expect when Season 3 of the supernatural show returns to the small screen this fall.

According to reports, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and his Original siblings will come face-to-fang with even more family problems when their blood-sucking children unexpectedly show up to New Orleans. That's right, audiences are going to get to meet the progenies of Klaus, Elijah (Daniel Gilles) and Rebekah (Claire Holt/Maisie Richardson-Sellers) in the upcoming installment of "The Originals," which is set to premiere on  Thursday, Oct 8.

In July, the Hollywood Reporter revealed the exciting news that "The Pacific" actor Andrew Lees would be taking on the role of Lucien, a NOLA newcomer who apparently has a major bone to pick with the hybrid creature. So, what exactly is Lucien's beef with Klaus? Well, as it turns out, Lucien is a member of Klaus' sire line - that first member of Klaus' sire line to be exact.

"We learned how to make vampires when my sire was created," Morgan explained during an interview withEntertainment Weekly. "There's definitely a bond there. We owe each other a lot."

Although Lucien's arrival might be a joyous event at first, the dark truth behind his arrival will quickly unfold as Season 3 of the series continues. Entertainment Weekly teased that Lucien will have a grudge against Klaus, which stems from being abandoned by his creator - along with the many other vampires Klaus created.

"There's also this element that it's not just the three of them but they're in contact with a lot of the sire line for each of us so it's like, Hey, remember us? All those vampires that you turned who you've now abandoned? Well guess what, we're not too happy about that and here's why,'" Morgan explained.

And Klaus' vampy kids aren't the only ones angry with the hybrid. Phoebe Tonkin, who portrays Hayley, dished to TVLine in May that "she's p----d" with Hope's dad.

"Hayley's not going to be able to forgive him easily for what he's done," Tonkin explain how her character feels about Klaus turning her into a wolf. "Even if he did it for the good of his baby, I don't think he did it in the right way. He should have let Hayley know that's what he was doing so she could have been part of the plan. But he didn't do that, so now, [she's] p----d."

Join the club, Hayl!

More new character who hate klaus and will either die in the end or become new besties of the mikaelsons.
Just hope the execution is exciting.

Also on hayley justifying her actions. - No comments.
She would have been okay with turning her entire pack into wolves to save hope. Well I don't think so n

Hmm. I  wish we get  potential villains who can actually stand up against Klaus. Don't want another idiotic army like the one Marcel was building up. Let's see. And about Hayley hating Klaus - well, who cares ðŸ¥±
