Okay since few people think that we are biased, let me try to clear the mess. 

This is not the first time that the NL is held, but it's the third time, till I remember. 

In the previous season it was Lazyleaves and Alina, the only two people who were selecting the OS and the FF/SS of the week. And the NL of each show works like this only. 

When they were doing this, we, the NL team, had never though that their choices were biased. And you, readers, too didn't raised any question on it.

Then why NOW? 

When we are trying to be as fair as we can, we had already thought that making just one person select it would raise second thoughts in your brains and so instead of making just one member declare the winner, we are working in a team of 6 people who vote and discuss about the OSs and each of us vote for the one that he/she loved the most.

So how come we are biased, now and in the previous versions this question was not raised? 

And let me clear one thing more, if you think that we are trying to "promote" or give awards to our friends, then that too is not true! Because, all the people that we have awarded, deserved the award and plus few of us don't even know about the existence of the stories that have been awarded, so how can we be biased while voting for  them?

You have question that the person selecting the story can be biased, okay let raise the hypothesis that she was biased while filtering the stories, do you really think that after reading the stories, we will just vote for one, if we think that the story, the grammar and way it is written doesn't deserved it?  Well I will not and the others too.

We were not friends and many of us don't even know each other before starting working on the NL, so the thought of letting our friend do whatever she/he wants to do does not even stand. Everyone of us says what she/he think is right accordingly to her/him and we tries to implement everyone's suggestions

Now go around India-Forums and find me a NL in which they are selecting SS/FF and OS/TS working as a team. I don't think you will find one, because in all the NLs present here, there is just one person per category. 

I had never understand why people instead of appreciating someone's efforts, always try to find mistakes?

And before anyone says something, we had already decided that we will make the readers select everything, is just that we, as you guys, have a personal life too, so couldn't find the time to post the thread up. But since you guys have started raising questions on our work, we'll try to post the thread soon. 

Hope this was clear enough.

P.S. I don't have anything against Lazy and Alina. We worked as a team and that period is one of the most memorable one for me.

And why we are letting just one person select the stories, well that is simple.

Because if all of us start suggesting stories, we will come out with an endless list and we don't have all the time to go through like  100 stories.  This is the reason why only one person is filtering stories.

If even after all this you didn't understand anything. Then I don't know what to say.
