The Rain.....Was Different!

She felt this rain was different. 

And with this, , she stepped out of her solitude. 

She crossed the big lounge and came out into the garden,  leaving behind a big family busy with a lazy afternoon chit chat.

Before her was a rain blurred big open space ...where she was supposed to be alone, but she knew she was more than solitary in that big bunch of new people in her life. Of whom she knew nothing, of her who knew nothing. 

Even the rain drops knew better of her than anyone in that huge house,  most importantly ... ... the person she was supposed to spend the rest of her life with. 

"Come rain, take away the pain of yesterday. " She looked up, and the slowly and steadily growing rain drops splashed upon her eyes, ran down her cheeks., drenched her soul...

Aaah!  Peace!  A peace she had been searching for ...since the last few months!  

Nevertheless,  she couldn't cherish the whole of it...an untold seed of melancholy grew inside every bit of her.

She didn't know him...She felt nothing for him. How could two strangers who knew n supposedly liked nothing of each other spend their lives together just for the sake of their families. ?

She could not love a person she had never even come across properly...before.  Goddd! Again that odd feeling hit her brain...again she grew weak...very weak...

She stopped thinking suddenly. 

She had to.

Not only was the shower hitting her harder, an equally terrific scene was hitting her eyes.

He slowly entered the garden through the main gate , not having seemed to notice her,...

he threw his umbrella, removed his coat, and with the joy of a kid, began cherishing the shower...as if even he had been waiting for this immense splash of water for lonnggg!!!!

She stood a distance apart,  awestruck...

Silent...and slowly a smile crossed her face...a smile of relief. 

Yes...strangers can make you feel home suddenly with a single unconditional act.

He knew nothing of her...yet...he connected to her...from within. ...through heart...through... .rain!

Suddenly. ..she wanted to fall in love. ...again...for the first time in the last few months. 

She was right. 

This rain was different.  Very different!
