Aanand L. Rai, who has decided to open his own production house, is apparently producing the remake of Tamil romantic comedy Kalayana Samayal Saadam'. The original film starred Prasanna and Lekha Washington, and the Bollywood remake will star Imran Khan and Shruti Haasan.

This will be for the second time when Shruti and Imran will be seen romancing in a film. Earlier, they have worked in Luck' which was Shruti's Bollywood debut. 

Kalayana Samayal Saadam' is about two IT professionals who are all set for an arranged marriage, but the arrangements of their wedding don't go as planned, leading to hilarious consequences. 

The movie is slated to start rolling by the end of this year and will release in 2016.

why can't Rai cast Shruti opposite Dhanush in his next directorial ? why ? 😭

oh this he is producing , for a moment , was shocked ! 
        eagerly waiting for Dhanush-anand rai combo again ...

   BTW , there r rumours that Aishwarya is working with Mani ratnam again... n there is also a confirmed news that mani ratnam's next is with dhanush a hindi-tamil bilingual... just wondering 😕

Dhanush-Mani film is almost confirmed, but Aish's is not. and polease no need of Aish, Dhanush better gets paired with someone younger. i want some intense love saga

If he can't take Shruthi in 2 movies that too one is producer n other director

Y il he take kang in bak to bak direction

because shruti isn't as credible as kangna or even Dhanush, moreover, kangna is Rai's favorite, just how dhanush is, favoritism talks a lot .😆
