Ranbir has lots of commercial films coming up so he doesn't have to worry but a poor opening for this clearly shows he is not in the "superstar" league. It's a shame coz the guy is a good actor.

Forget starpower... will the film make profits? 😕

Might be speaking too soon as well - the film could pick up but public WOM isn't that great as opposed to industry talk.

The movie has a budget of 110 or so cores. It at-least needs to make over 150 to break even.

Highland park Kolkata sees very less footfall so it doesn't matter if shows are cancelled in that mall. Its not a very busy mall to begin with.

But I like the directors you have mentioned

Vikas behl, Vikramaditya motwane , Sujit Sarkar, Sujoy Ghosh even Dibakar are better than AK for me

One thing is now crystal clear that only Khans have star power and only their can run films on their names. After them nobody has starpower to make film hit on their name and starpower.
