He took slow steps, stopping in the middle of the room, right where the cradle used to be. But now it was put away in the closet, probably never to be used.

Jigs, why does he say that the cradle will probably never be used?

Did the doctors say that its hard for Khushi to conceive again? Is there something which Arnav knows and Khushi does not?

Crap i had a feeling their distance was because of a stillbirth or miscarriage

And i know from experience people grieve in different ways

My brother and sister in law lost their first baby, she was a full term still birth

My sister in law was able to talk to the family and come to terms but my brother bottled it all up

He became depressed and was unable to function, he started to get panic attacks and chest pains

he consulted with a few doctors and they gave him meds which only made it worse

Eventually my uncle taught him to do yoga meditation which brought him out of the depression without meds and counselling

This happened about 3 1/2 yrs ago now they have a 15 mths old baby boy

He is the main reason my brother and sister in law is happy and able to move on

He is the whole family shining light after our angel left us

Beautifully written!!
I've unfortunately experienced 2 miscarriages before having my children and have gone through delivering one similar to khushi.  You have written this chapter with so much love, and understanding and compassion. It must not have been easy but you did it beautifully.

Thank you

I think this chapter was written well. It moved me as a mother and its not very untrue that motherhood is one big guilt trip  . Khushi feeling guilty for her loss  is portrayed v realistically .

You are a wonderful writer Jigs...I am really happy to be a part of this story.  I can understand it would be very tough for you to write this update.  The loss of an unborn is really painful...my niece lost her son when she was 5 months pregnant...it took her almost 2 years to come back when she got pregnant again.  It is very sad.   I hope like her Khushi conceives again and their Pari will come back to them.  I cried throughout the chapter.
Simply hats off to you Jigs.
