I have seen many shows before where protagonists change 'cause of popularity,

Like in beginning of Gossip Girl Serena was lead but popularity made Blair the centre of story.

In Arrow Laurel was decided to be the female protagonist again fan following made Felicity female lead.

It happened in so many shows not only English shows but in Hindi shows too.

It will take place in MMZ too. At the end of the day viewers give rating.
