It;s interim Bail, the argument was the defense didn't get copy of the verdict. So technicalities were the reason. his real bail plea will be heard after 48 hrs. This is just a little break and maybe a tactic to build his bail case.

@Roger - Yeah probably, Salve is out for play. But his verdict is severe, would be hard to convince at the HC. Smart, Smart legal work by Salve.

It's Salve, after all. Very cleverly, he cashed on the technicalities. He even served as the Solicitor general, if I'm not wrong. Salman is in safe hands. Lol.

For all those people crying out loud that Salman should have been sentenced as any other citizen instead of being given a harsher punishment, Salman's jail sentence got reduced  and he was given  interim bail from HC on the same day, while a aam aadmi would have been in the jail by now, equality indeed.
