now to address this idea of heroines being younger in the serials, i believe that is grab their core audience who are girls of a similar age and to make them empathise with the character and then of course let those girls fulfil their romantic fantasies through some very clich, twisted and incomprehensible plots at times. there is a lot of stereotyping of characters in the tv shows.

 

p.s. i would like to see the case of a older girl with mommy daddy issues. would be a brief welcoming change.
