Yes, Ahem was pissed off when Gopi took such a step but it is not that he didn't try to bail her out. He got more angry when Gopi inflicted the promise to the Modi's that nobody in the family should contact her for the kids. If she had not inflicted that promise, Ahem wouldn't have taken such a decision. But he did the right thing by showing his outburst on Kokila.

Gopi the know all and do all bahu of Modi Bhavan committed murder to "save" Modi Bhavan from Radha. 

And exactly what is Modi Bhavan? It is Baa, Kokila, Hetal, Jigar, Ahem, etc etc 

And the rest of the world is fine and Gopi bhau went to jail. That is the story of Gopi bahu. 

She could never rely on Ahemji. In fact the relationship between Ahem and Gopi is the vaguest one. 

Ahem is nice to her if Gopi is all in all the bahu with pallu over her head even when she sleeps. The Gopi bahu his mother made her to be. 

Ahem did not care for Gopi ever.  Only out of compulsion he married Gopi . He kicked her out when he found her not to his liking. Kokila never cared for the bahu. 

Somehow Gopi bahu found her way back into Modi bhavan. and Ahem had to live with her. 

and then the relationship does not stand even the slightest test. 

When Meera falls into water Gopi is called "la parvaa" and noone wants to see her face including Ahem. 

He echoes Kokila when Meera falls into water. But when Gopi commits murder he promptly blames Kokila for everything. 

Why did he not support Gopi when Kokila took it out on her for Meera's accident?

Yes in the beginning of his outburst he mentioned that he always abided to her decision whether right or wrong & admits that it is his fault as well. He says that Kokila was the first person to blame Gopi for Meera's accident. He is the only second one. He didn't have guts to go against his mom. Yes, he should have asked Gopi what had exactly happened & defended her.

Whichever way it is Gopi never gets Ahem's support nor his respect. 

Now he took two kids and starts dating another woman. No wonder he does not want a woman who has blood in her hands. 

Gopi  the sacrificer for the modis did she for a minute stop to think that she committed murder dirtied her hands for the sake of Modis. 

Paridhi who was part of this drama in the riverside scene where Radha was murdered by Gopi does not even bear to have the child in Modi Bhavan the very child for whom Gopi murdered Radha the very chlld whom Gopi put in Paridhi's hands calling her the mother of the child. 

Paridhi lives in Modi Bhavan in all comforts while Kokila pays the price for her deeds slaving it out in Urmila mansion. 

Even Kinjal does not care for Kokila who dumped her into Urmila's hands just because she loved and was dumped by Umang with a bad name.

Yes, Kokila dumped her into Urmila's hands as she loved Umang who dumped her with a bad name but it was Kinjal's fault as well. She made a wrong choice. If Umang had really loved her it wouldn't have been on the basis of Ahem-Anita wedding. He would have bought the proposal at MB asking for Kinjal's hand. Furthermore, she faked her pregnancy only to marry Umang. In this kind of situation it was Dhawal who was ready to hold her hand. And not only that, he was immensely patient with her. He gave love & affection to Kinjal. He supported her many times against Urmila. She went for modelling but he tolerated that though he didn't like it. But about the slap, it was also Kinjal's fault. If the flower-pot fell on Urmila's head, it is because of Kinjal's carelessness. She is full of attitude from the scratch of this show.

Ahem took it out on Kokila for dumping Gopi on his head in the name of marriage and dumped Gopi was well because Gopi was just a robot which has been programmed into doing what kokila  expects her to do.

Ahem himself was a robot and has been programmed into doing what Kokila expects him to do. As an IT professional, I will say that Kokila did not get the required output this time & the program has crashed.😆

After all these characters Gopi, Madhubehn Jayant bhai do not have the capacity to stand up to themselves being not so rich nor educated. 

Urmila by hook or crook  stands up to the Modis. 

Radha harms the Modis  by her criminal ways. 

Ahem and Gopi's characters so far have been developed in such a way that there is no hope of them treating each other equally and with respect.

Yes, Kokila never allowed them to get close to the extent of losing Ahem to Gopi.

The kids are badly spoilt no gooder Meera getting drunk and Vidya  fending for herself on her own. 

Now wonder Ahem went the way he went. after all that happened. I pity Jigar who is stuck with Paridhi and her tantrums. 

The Modis have no backbone to straighten anybody out be it Radha or Paridhi. They  made Gopi into what she is now and thanks to Kokila Ahem had to be stuck with Gopi and her ways and no wonder when she went to jail he  took himself off away from Modi bhavan.

It was all because of Gopi's stupid promise which Gopi had thrusted on the family before going & that has made the matters worse to the extent that made Ahem to disown everyone.

 and agree with you both ladies @Basuanasuya and @Pyaaribehena. Gopi and Ahem are like a string of puppets in the hands of Kokila. I'd say to an extent everything has to happen Kokila style, it's all  about keeping Kokila to the top priority and keeping her happy and following her commands,  that's sort of what Ahem and Gopi did throughout. Ahem broke his relation with Kokila but as of Gopi she still following the traits of Kokila and will continue to do so.

Ahem and Gopi each  in direct it might be and certain situations might have lead to where they are now but each have their own faults and no one apart from Gopi the scarifical queen has the ability to sort this mess out! 😆

Yes that is true but making a mess is easy & they do it. They don't even make any effort to sort them out. So they wait till Gopi comes.

When Kokilabehn did not approve he dropped Anita like a hot potato. And when Gopi was thrust on Ahem's head  Kokila did not bother to check if Gopi was educated enough for Ahem.

****** When Anita insisted Ahem to talk to his mom about their marriage, he still could have brought her home & told that he wants to marry her. If he really loved her he would have done that a way back. But he made her to wait outside like a dog & outrightly rejected her even though Kokila left the decision to him. Kokila knew that Gopi was illiterate but she wanted a DIL who will listen to her & will not take her son away from him. Gopi met her requirements. However, in my POV, Anita is a bad match for Ahem & it was revealed when she began to stay in MB after her marriage stopped.

And Gopi bore the consequences. She got thrown out of Modi Bhavan . Nobody cared for the fact that she was an orphan and Urmila treated her like dirt.

And Kokila did not care nor took any action when Gopi was thrown out of MB because Ahem did not like her. 

It was because of  fear for baa that Gopi was brought back into MB
****** It was Kokila who brought Gopi & it was Ahem who accepted her choice. Ahem did not like her but Gopi aggravated his anger by washing his laptop. He got so much pissed off to the extent that he threatened Kokila that he will leave the house. But it was also Gopi's mistake that she did such a thing. She washed his lappy just because Rashi told her. How stupid! Even a five year kid knows that even if a single drop of water falls on any electronic item, it will stop working unless it is a water-proof. Kokila had to somehow pacify him. If nani asked for Gopi, Kokila got the hope of keeping Gopi.

Ahem was programmed so much so he did not object nor bothered to find out what happened when Gopi was blamed for Meera incident.

And he lived without Gopi for eight years and almost married Radha.
****** Ahem loved and trusted his mom so much. When they came to that spot where Gopi had rescued Meera, they saw that Gopi had accidentally dropped her in the pond. Gopi was stupid that she left home. If she had stayed, the Modis would have known about her pregnancy & Kokila would have softened towards her & somehow helped her to find the truth.

Gopi was stupid to have committed murder. for the sake of the Modis. 

And her promise was stupider. She went to jail. And that has to be explained to the kids. sooner or later. 

Why should not Ahem meet her without the kids knowing about it? 

****** I agree with you on this part. Kids have the right to know where are their parents. Even if she killed Radha, she should have erased the Trishul finger prints.

And then when Gopi returns what would they tell the kids about where she was? Is it even right to tell the truth that she committed murder ?

Gopi  dirtied her hands for the sake of these people . Now she comes back wtih "long plait " et all  as if she came back from a pilgrimage . Does she not have any issues with the act she has committed? 

Gopi comes back as if nothing has happened returning to take back from where she left off.
 

How will she live in society? What would people think? The cvs make such stories without realizing  what it is . It is not a joke to go to jail and come back and take life from where you left it.

Gopi did she not have any duty towards her chlldren ?

****** Agree that it was stupid of Gopi to have taken such a step without even thinking twice. But if Ahem had been sensible, he would be thinking about his daughters & he wouldn't be thinking about his re-marriage though his anger is right at its place.

Kinjal I have no words for her. Agreed she lived under Urmilabehn. But she just usurped her mom's place in MB and started wearing even her jewels. 

Looks like she did not want to marry Dhaval at all and she did not have any feelings towards him.

She did not even care for the kid. 

She should have felt guilty and responsible for hitting Urmila on the head  But she did not have any moral issues regarding what she did. 

****** Kinjal always wanted easy money. She has always been childish & immature plus she has a huge attitude. She did not want to marry Dhawal & did not have any feelings for him. But it is also her fault that she did not forget Umang even after her engagement with Elesh. She was very stupid to think that Umang loves her. She did not take Urmi's responsibility after having hit her on the head as Dhawal kicked her. But her attitude was never right.

Such stupid people Modis are and so selfish too. 

No Dhaval is not right in slapping Kinjal no matter what. That point I would never agree.  Dhaval was patient with her does not mean he can lose his patience and hit her .
****** I agree that Dhawal shouldn't have slapped Kinjal but it was Urmila who instigated Dhawal. Kinjal shouldn't have beaten up Urmila even by accident. All women are not good. Kinjal never talked to Urmila respectfully, Dhawal silenced both of them. Dhawal had supported Kinjal when he came to know the truth about Urmila. He supported her more than Urmila. When noone was ready to marry Kinjal for having messed up with Umang, it was Dhawal who held her hand. Although Dhawal was not a rich guy he started his own business. He gave Kinjal whatever she wanted. His credit card was with her all the time. When Kinjal went for modelling against the wishes of his family, Dhawal tolerated that. So he has been taking all her shit. She suspected Dhawal about his affair with Falguni & went to the extent of slapping her. I agree that Urmi is a greedy woman but what Kinjal is supposed to do? She has to create an environment for herself which she did not do all these years. If she thinks that she is the best, that will not work out. Dhawal has no right to slap her no matter what. However, under such a situation it is natural for any man to react like that. She had created problems between Ahem & Gopi by ordering a necklace in her name. When Ahem found out that Gopi was illiterate, he slapped her when she told that she had told this to him on their engagement. So I assume that it has come back to her.

Hetal should have been more firm with everyone. 

Now Gopi says to Hetal why she let Kokila make all important decisions. 

That I have been asking for so long.
