Character we miss on tv. Asad Ahmed Khan

Asad Ahmed Khan from Qubool Hai
Asad Ahmed Khan (Karan Singh Grover/
Raqesh Vasisht) is an well sketched
character. A man who is a good Son,
Brother, Husband and Father. For a guy
who doesn't have the word love' within
his dictionary is soon hit by cupid. Asad
Ahmed Khan presents a unique blend of a
romantic, macho, business minded
character with a slice of anger, pain and
broken heart. For a guy broke his own
limitations and proposed to a girl at an
airport, just to stop her from leaving,
what more reason would one need before
to give their heart to a fellow like him?

That airport proposal was EPIC! One of my all time favorite scenes of Qubool Hai. A scene that will forever be up there as a top favorite of mine. SO romantic! Then of course he had to go and say it is all "Nakali!" But then that was Asad for you! :) Edited by MrDarcyfan - 9 years ago

QH first 150+ odd episodes were epic. after that Billi ruined everything with her SRs :/

It can clearly stated that still after ASAD AHMED KHAN ( KSG ) from the show almost 15 months back he is always mentioned or spoken about in this forum...with great debates always going on about his soo called Emotionally challenged behaviour.., his Akduness , his trademark pinching of his nose when he is annoyed , his " Ammi woh bechari nahi hai " rant...we always find ways to remember him but then His proposal at the airport , his out of character efforts to fullfill Zoya's all childhood wishes everything...makes us fall in love with him again & again... I still feel we didn't got the most of AAK enough ...and i sometime feel amused that some off them still accuse him for his move during Zoyaan track which KSG wasn't supproting...and then he fell prey to Women's & Kitchen politics...
But whatever he is i will always see him as my most cherished Fictional character...offcourse till KSG was playing it...because after that the character took 360 degree change..
But yes it is true I and i think many of us still misses him...
