"She had to think positively.

It would work out.

She hoped."

Arnav is atlast trying to sacrifice his dream for his love. But kushi doesn't want this. Both are right in their places.
One very intense update choti. Clap now arnav realized that he cannot live without her but he can without his dream.
Anjali succeeded in knocking some sense into arnav.
Arnav is getting into action mode. Eagerly waiting for his next plan of action

I cannot believe it! When both where at loggerheads to not give into others demand now out of love they have decided to opt what suits the other best!
Love does strange things to you! I guess this is one such circumstance that's strange yet so lovely!

Hmm!

Cheers

One down, one to go. I guess, I am being forced by Choti into being a "glass half full" kind of person. Or else, I am not even sure how I can handle all that fist clenching intensity coming out of those magical words put in a very articulate sequential order. I am sure that with a few oranges in my hand, that glass would have been half full in no time.

One thing is for certain, of all the things Arshi are holding back, passion and intensity are definitely not amongst them. And, once you have those two, working out the other things and getting trained for the unknown is just a matter of time. There it goes, my "glass half full" again.

Arnav - someone who may not ever say the right things when it matters the most but his instinct to display his intensity is always spot on and I think that is what is going to really get him Khushi.

Khushi - someone who knows all the "politically correct" words to say, will soon realize that love is not about being political nor about being correct all the time. And that realization is what is going to get her Arnav.

Come to think about it, for all the bickering about the love of land or the place they want to hang on to, it's about time they realize that a place is only as good as the people in it and a relation is only as good as the emotion in it.

I am glad and truly believe that Arnav took the first step by planting the seed of trust in Khushi with a simple "I will stay back in India". Loving is always the easy part, doing it, is always the hard part. I really hope Khushi finds it in her to get to that, but for that, she needs to lay back a bit, take a deep breathe, close her eyes and slowly open her heart.

Waiting for that moment and waiting for my other half of glass to get filled soon. I am sure you already know Choti, it is not considered manners to cheer with a glass, that is half full!!!

I can't help but quote your comments, because every time, I'm astounded by how you pick out exactly what I wanted to say.

@Bold: Yes. That's exactly what I wanted to show that they aren't realizing. Exactly. You captured it in a sentence, and I have to give you kudos for that. Thank you thank you!

I promise, your glass will be full soon LOL Well, sort of. Because Arnav and Khushi hamesha, right? Wink

I am however very shocked at Arnav's reaction after his chat with Anjali because I misread the teaser.  For some reason, I felt he was not going to react but here he is taking off like a mad man more determined to claim her back.  For some reason, he is fighting more for them than her.  Not sure if this has to do with the fact that she has to prove her gratefulness to his parents for having taken her in after her parents's demise.  I am sure Ashok made his point of view very clear about her making a decision that will make her happy.

Looking forward to the next chapter as always.

@Bold: That feeling will play a large role in what happens next- regardless of what Ashok says, I think... I think people always feel indebted to people who have helped them so much, even if they need not be. It's just a natural feeling, to want to do whatever you can to express how grateful you are to them.

Your comment interested me because your points were something someone who edits for me brought up to me.

As I was writing this, I felt like Khushi has always been more skeptical of how this will work out. She's always held back because she knows it'll result in heartbreak. Her biggest fears are coming true, she knew Arnav would want to go back to England and she wouldn't. She also knows that he'll grow to resent her if she keeps him here- this is his decision to make, and it should be made for himself, not because she wants it.

On this topic- a compromise is incredibly, incredibly difficult. A discussion on this would result in the same impasse. One can't very well live on two separate continents. One of them has to make that choice.

That was what I was thinking when I wrote it. I really like hearing what other people think, and it's refreshing to have someone counter and question why I wrote something the way I did.

Thank you!

Also... LOL (I couldn't resist!)

I don't know what happened to my comment after I replied to you so if it pops up twice, I'll delete it.

I see your point of gratefulness and repaying your debt feeling that Kushi is experiencing. My parents indoctrinated the same in me and it is hard to overcome that.  If I am not relating to Kushi at this point, it is because since I came to Canada many years ago as a naive little girl , I was told something else about survival and that is "help yourself before you can help others and also if you are not happy, you will not be able to make others happy around you". So I think she needs to be a little selfish and reach out for her happiness that is tied to him just like he has put them first by reversing his decision.  I also know that it is easier for men to adopt the pay your debts and move on philosophy than letting it linger for life which women have a tendency to do.  I feel Kushi has more than repaid for their act of kindness.  I do relate when she fears that he may resent her for staying in India but I somehow feel that this should be discussed not assumed.  However this is a very sensitive topic between them and they can't seem to open their mouth without hurting each other with emotions coming at the forefront as opposed to logic.  It is almost as if they need a mediator in between them.  Loving this catch 22 situation and looking forward to see how you resolve it as I know you will bring a happy ever after to them, yeah?

I see your Elsa and this is what my 8 year old say to her:
