Guys here is my first ever write up and that too a FF...I believe
in arranged marriages and hence the topic of my FF is also based on arranged
marriage obviously on swaron.
Now I am
posting it's prologue...don't know if you will like it or not but waiting for
your comments good ones but more than that the bad ones please criticize if you
think it is not good and whether I should continue it or not.
Not wasting
much of your time I am posting the prologue but before it there is a disclaimer
I am not a writer so those who is expecting some literary piece of art this is
not the place for you...sorry to disappoint you.
PROLOGUE
June 2012, Somewhere in Delhi in a marriage an old lady, old but had a glow on her
face, she usually had it. But today it wasn't her usual glow it was something
more. She called out
Maa: Smriti, come here
She called out to her daughter-in-law
Smriti: Excuse me, maa bula rahi hai. Ji maa apne bulaya.(after coming towards her)
Maa: haan, Smriti use dekho, vo hamare swayam ke liye sabse sahi rahegi. Jaisa uska swabhav (nature) hai uske liye she is the right one.
Smriti: haan maa par
swayam abhi 2 mahino pehle hi toh 19 saal ka hua hai. Aur ye ladki bhi dekhne
se lagta hai ki usi umar ki hai abhi choti hai.
Maa: haan haan, me sirf
ye keh rahi hun ki jab bhi ho par swayam ki shadi isi se hogi.
Smriti: Ji maa jaisa
aap kahe. Me uske bare me pata lagati hu. Uske mata-pita se aap ko milwaungi.
Wo bhi isi shaadi me honge. Me dekhti hu.
Maa: thik hai me yahi
hun. Tum unhe yaha bula lao.
Smriti went from there
and came after around 15 mins with 2 more persons.
She was talking
animatedly to them. And Maa too smiled when she saw them. All 3 of them came
towards her and the two persons touched her feet and took her blessings.
Maa: Gautam aur
avantika tum dono yaha?
Gautam: Ji maa hum kuch
saal pehle hi delhi shift hue hai... jaipur se yaha aa gaye. Aur 10 saal baad
apse mulaqat ho rahi hai bahut khushi hui.
Maa: vaise hamari beti
Sharon kaha hai?
Smriti: maa vo...(before
she completed avantika called out for Sharon)
avantika: Sharon. Beta
come here.
Maa was surprised
watching who came. And then she smiled more profoundly as if she had got
everything without even asking for it. Sharon came over there.
Sharon: mom apne mujhe
bulaya
Avantika: haan, Sharon
inse milo ye rishi uncle ki wife aur unki mom.
Sharon after listening
to this before saying anything toushed both of there blessings.
Maa: khush raho vaise
hamare yaha betiyan pair nahi chooti. Aur beta batau kya padh rahi ho?
Sharon: dadi me ab 1st
year me jaungi.
Maa: achcha beta thik
hai tum jao apne doston ke saath batein karo hamare saath bore ho jaogi.
Sharon:thik hai
daadi.(and was about to touch there feet but stopped in between remembering
dadi's line.)
To this everybody
present there started laughing...
Maa: khush raho.
Sharon leaves from
there and dadi started to make conversation which she wanted to make with them.
Maa: gautam, avantika
mujhe tum dono se kuch zaruri baat karni hai.
Gautam & avantika:
ji maa kahiye.
Maa: vo mein tumhari
beti Sharon ka haat apne pote ke liye mangna chahti hu.
Gautam & avantika
look at each other.
Maa: me janti hu ki vo
abhi choti hai aur me ye nahi keh rahi hun ki abhi unki shaadi karvao..par me
ye chahti hun ki vohi meri bahu bane..mujhe pata nahi thi ki vo tumhari beti
hai..maine bas use abhi dekha aur mujhe pata tha ki vohi mere swayam ke liya
perfect hai.
Gautam: are maa aap ye
kaisi baate kar rahi ho Sharon aap ki poti hai aap jab kahe hum uski shaadi
swayam se kara ne ke liye hum tyaar hai.
avantika: ji maa.
Maa: thank you mera
itna aadar rakhne ke liye..par abhi nahi abhi un dono ki shadi ki umar nahi
hai. Abhi unhe padhai karni hai..unki padhai hone ke baad hum iss baat ko aage
le jayenge. Aur agar iss beech unhe kisi se pyaar ho jaata hai to unke saath
koi zabardasti nahi karega. Kya me clear hu?
Even if she was saying this to them, and she meant what she
said, but deep down she knew ki Sharon will only be her grand daughter-in-law.
And she had faith in destiny that she won't ditch her, its just how everything
will take place that has to be seen.
All three of them: Ji
maa.
This was the reason all respected there
maa so much, she always believed in moving with time and accept the changes
that took place very graciously and change yourself rather trying to change
time according to you which eventually leads only to sorrow...
