P: "Ranima, woh hu.. hume apne kaksh mein ja kar vishram krna chahiye" Saying this Pratap left from there..
JB: "Kunwar Pratap, suniye.. hmph, lagta hai lajja gaye... Chaliye koi baat nhi.. Ab aapko bhi vishram krna chahiye Ajabde.. Chaliye... Ajabde?? Ajabde??"
Ajabde was looking at the door through which Pratap had just left... It hadn't escaped her that he had avoided looking at her throughout the ceremony... She was confused and needed to know why was Pratap avoiding her...
"Ajabde??" JB tapped on Ajabde's shoulder to get her attention...
"Ji... Ji Ranima"
"Kaha kho gyi thi aap... Chaliye ab aapko thoda vishram kr lena chahiye..."
"Ji Ranima... "
In Ajabde's room
"Aap yaha vishram kijiye... Hum jakar dekhte hai ki ratri k bhojan ki taiyaariya kaisi chal rhi hai.. Thik hai??"
"Ji Ranima"
"Aur ha... Aap ke kaksh k bagal wala kaksh hamara hai.. Toh agr aapko kisi bhi vastu ki aavashakta ho toh hume bata dijiyega... Acha hum chalte hai.."
Smiling, JB left from there... Once alone, Ajabde looked around the room... It was a beautiful room, decorated with oil lamps and flowers... Simple and elegant... Just the way she liked... But these decorations did nothing to calm her anxiety... She was still thinking of all the possible reasons that might have caused Pratap to avoid her but couldn't come up with even one...
She had to talk to him... Didn't he realise that tomorrow morning she has to go back to Bijolia... No matter what, she had to talk to him during dinner...
At night, in Pratap's Room
Pratap had changed from his wedding dress to his daily wear... He was lost in his own thoughts when he heard someone knocking at his door...
"Bhitar aa jaiye.."
"Baujiraj??" It was Chakrapani...
"Chaliye bhojan ka samay ho gaya hai..."
"Ji Chakrapani... Chaliye"
Both the friends left Pratap's room and headed towards the kitchen..
C: "Baujiraj, kya hum aapse ek prashna puch skte hai??"
P (amused): "Chakrapani, aapko kbse humse kuch bhi puchne k liye aagya leni ki aavashyakta padne lagi?? Puchiye, kya puchna chahte hai aap.."
C: "Woh aapke aur Ajabde bhabhisa k beech kuch anban hui hai kya??"
P: "Kya???????????"
C: "Woh woh h.. hum toh isliye puch rhe the qki aap dono ne ek bhi baar ek dusre se baat nhi ki... Woh toh chhodiye, aapne toh ek baar bhi Ajabde Bhabhisa ki taraf dekha bhi nhi"
P (sighing): "Aisi koi baat nhi hai Chakrapani. Aap vyarth hi chintit ho rhe hai.."
C: "Ohhh... Hume maaf kr dijiye.. Hum bewajah hi chintit ho rhe the"
They reached the hall for dinner...
JB: "Aaiye Kunwar Pratap"
P: "Ranima, Dajiraj kaha hai??"
JB: "Woh Rawat ji ke sath kisi mahatwapurna vishay par charcha kr rhe hai... Woh baad mein bhojan kr lenge.. Aap aur chakrapni baith jaiye.."
Pratap and Chakrapani sat down to have dinner... Pratap's eyes were searching for Ajabde and so was Chakrapni looking for Saubhagyawati...
JB (smiling to herself): "Aap dono kuch dhundh rhe hai??
P & C: "Nhi nhi.. Kuch bhi nhi"... Pratap and Chakrapani were blushing furiously by being caught red handed by JB...
Just a moment later, Ajabde and Saubhagyawati entered the hall leaving both the boys speechless as both the girls were looking too beautiful...
Ajabde and Saubhagyawati sat opposite to Pratap and Chakrapani... All the four were served food... JB decided to excuse herself to give some privacy to the newlyweds and their friends...
JB: "Hum dekh kar aate hai ki Ranaji kaha reh gye.."
Saying this Jb left from there along with all the dasis, leaving only the four of them in the hall... ChakraWati were stealing glances at each other instantly blushing and looking away wen they caught each other's eyes, totally oblivious to Ajabde and Pratap...
Ajabde glanced at Pratap but he was not even looking at her... He was eating his food his food with extreme concentration... She tried to catch his eyes by waving her hands but of no use... She glanced at ChakraWati.. She sighed looking at them, longing for such a moment with Pratap...
Pratap had been deliberately avoiding her attempts to gain her attention but her audible sigh caught his attention... He snapped his head up only to see Ajabde looking at ChakraWati with admiration... Her sigh had longing in it... He knew wt she was going through coz of his behaviour but he couldn't help it as he did not trust himself around her... He instantly stood up and left the hall abruptly shocking the other three...
Ajabde felt really bad and had to cover her mouth to stop a sob from escaping... Even she got up and left the hall... ChakraWati looked at each other questioningly...
Ajabde was lying on her bed crying her heart out wen she heard a hesitant knock on her door...
A: "Saubhagyawati aap yaha se chali jaiye... Hum kisise koi baat nhi krni..."
For a second she thougth Saubhagyawati had obeyed her and left but a moment later she heard the knock again, this time very confident...
She got up from her bed, extremely angry with Saubhagyawati and opened the door only to be shocked to find that it wasn't Saubhagyawati... It was KUNWAR PRATAP!!!!!!!!!
