Diya Aur Baati Hum Written Update 30th December 2014
Zakir advices Sandhya to solve her issue with Suraj. Sandhya asks what should she do. Zakir asks her to meet Suraj. Sandhya is hesitant and Zakir asks whether her ego is stopping her. Sandhya says if Suraj comes to her forgetting happened and if she refuses to go, then he can say it is her ego but now it is her self respect. She also says Ankur and Ankitha have gone to meet Suraj. Zakir is happy to hear this and just then lady constable brings chit from Suraj. Zandy think Suraj has come to talk and take her home. Zakir calls Suraj in and leaves from there. Sandhya feels happy seeing Suraj and asks him to be seated. Suraj refers her as ASP Sandhya and informs that he has come to give a complaint. Sandhya is sad but calls assistant to get the complaint register. Suraj informs her that he wanted to register complaint with the inspector but inspector sent him in. Sandhya says it is her duty and she will register the complaint and asks for details. Suraj tells everything in muted voice and Sandhya writes it down. She gives the register for him to sign. Suraj signs in Hindi without a line on top of letters and Sandhya gets into flashback seeing it.
Flashback starts:
Pre IPS training, Sandhya asks Suraj to sign a form and Suraj signs it. He expresses his sadness as how he will be incomplete without her. Sandhya hugs him and asks whether they are complete now and Suraj nods. She asks him to complete the signature which he has left out without putting a line on top.
Flashback ends
Suraj notices Sandhya seeing the signature and snaps out as if he remembered the same incident and then completes his signature. Sandhya gets up and says she will come with him to that office.
Emily and Meena in house preparing tomatoes for making chutney. Meena again talks about 9 lakhs and asks Emily's opinion on whether Suraj did the right thing by refusing money from Ankur. Emily says he is right as Bhabho's responsibility is totally theirs. Meena is not happy with the answer and speaks on about future expenses with kids growing up, going to school, etc. Emily agrees with Meena's concern about expenses. Bhabhasa calls Meena and asks her to bring new medicine bottle for Bhabho. Meena sees the price which is Rs. 550 and is shocked. She grumbles about increased expenses and scratches the price on the label and makes it look like Rs. 55. She then cries as if in pain. Emily come to her and asks her to rest and she will bring medicine. Meena says she will be okay resting and asks Emily to bring the medicine for Bhabho.
SurYa are going to the government office, Suraj in scooter and Sandhya in police van. They are stopped at a signal. Sandhya is sad seeing the scooter and remembers old scene where SurYa are on the scooter. Suraj sees Sandhya's reflection in the mirror and he remembers Sandhya radio story about them and scooter. He tilts the mirror so that he does not see Sandhya. They move on in the traffic and at one place Suraj loses control. Sandhya is worried and wants to get down from jeep but Suraj manages and moves on.
Emily buys new medicine and gives Rs. 55 to the shop owner. He tells her it costs Rs. 550 and not 55 and shows her the price on the bottle. Emily notices it and gets how Meena has fooled her.
SurYa reach the office. Vikram is shocked seeing Sandhya there and asks Suraj why is she there. Sandhya asks them to go in and she will come later as such cases need to be caught red-handed. Suraj and Vikram go to the officer's cabin. Sandhya and Kohli reach there from behind and stand behind a frame and watch inside. Mr. Solanki (officer) is happy seeing Suraj and Vikram and thinks they are ready to pay bribe and he says he will come home with the check and asks them not to forget 10%. Sandhya tells him to take 15% and the officer is shocked. He manages to say that he was mentioning 10 days and the cheque will be ready. Suraj says he is lying and he was in fact referring to money. The officer acts innocent and says Suraj and Vikram may be from press and are trying to trap him. Sandhya says Mr. Rathi does not tell lies and Suraj is shocked to hear it. The officer tries to escape saying Suraj looks innocent but he is not and Kohli interrupts saying Sandhya knows Suraj well as he is her husband. The officer is shocked and says if he had known they are from ASP's family, he would have done it without fail. Sandhya asks Kohli to arrest him.
SurYa come out and hesitantly move in opposite direction, then they stop and turn back and come face to face.
Precap: Promo scene. Suraj thanks ASP Sandhya for helping. Sandhya tells she does her duty with dedication. Bhabhasa and Bhabho convo where she tells that SurYa are acting so that they don't blurt out how much they love each other.
