Puneet was highly disliked when he went against Gautam and supported Upen and Pritam. But after his exit from the show by doing Arya's stint he got to know that Gautam is most popular outside. He came back and called Gautam his "simba" and made his relations better with Gautam. We all know who's riding on who's fame. If Puneet was not nice to Gautam he would have out by now! The whole BG gang is out, such is Gautam's power.
Please try to see it when the evidence is right in front of your eyes! Infact Puneet's bad deeds were always paid by Gautam. nobody had the guts to confront Puneet so all took revenge on Gautam when he was not even involved in the related issue also!
