Schools were closed for December break... Shravu came by a couple times, as Amma had taken the day off also. She was writing a Micro Economics book for NCERT collaborating with 6 teachers across Delhi
So she was a busy lady... either in meetings or having the other faculty over... samosas and chai or vadai and coffee, Amma's book SHOULD BE COMING ALONG fine😃👏
I mean after getting to eat such good food on winter afternoons... how can work not be of good quality..😉
Periappa's health deteriorated and swung back... he had been doing that for years now...
there was never a time atleast since II was around that ever displayed any emotion or showed any cognitive function
Appa was really bogged down by it, he would often be heard lamenting to Amma "What would happen to HIM after we pass"
Amma would reassure him that between II and Akka he would be cared for
Akka was super over burdened already
Appa was found whispering "If II marries Srikant and moves to the States, how can she"😭
They even stayed up many nights worrying if this whole Srikant idea was good later reassured
themselves that its unfair to II NOT to think of her happiness for Periappa's sake...😳 so Srikant IT WAS ermmm... it WILL BE😃
Our leading lady ofcourse was on life support😉... no not the one that comes in huge rusty tanks
But the kind that wafts all over you when u lay in bed at night and cant sleep... letting her index finger work overtime... as she imagined
Imagined a time when she wouldnt have to go to work... may be stay in bed all day thinking about him
His tee was particularly soft today... like the soft wash kind from Banana Republic or Gap... she didnt even get a collar to grab on to
They were V neck or round... nothing he wore ever declared any brand name...
She could see the tiny knots on the cotton fibre...they were a size too big or a size too small

Amma was not noticing the fact that, she wasnt eating right at home... and her lunch was coming home half eaten or untouched😲
Even after break up with Subbu on that horrid Sunday afternoon she had eaten a full meal at dinner

R&B didnt give a damn... in fact he had written to his sisters at various times during the last 4 years offering to sell
