I agree with your point @myviewprem.
It was the decision of the production house for the story line to make a leap, without a proper closure on JA and cashing in on the fame and popularity of RT/PS to begin the story of Salim /Anarkali under the name of JA.
The newcomers chosen to play various grown up characters in the show, should not have to bear the brunt for EK's game plan.
I'm a huge fan of Rajat Tokas too. I've been watching RT come up with stellar performances in his previous serials also. That does not mean that Ravi Bhatia should be in the same league as him. Both are two entirely different kinds of talent and one should not be compared with the other. Both have two completely different kinds of roles to play.
Ravi Bhatia has been part of the cast since only two/three weeks. He will also get into the skin of the character, over a period of time. Let us give this guy a break and stop being judgmental.
Comparisons cause of a lot of unnecessary stress and unhappiness.
As a progressive audience, let us welcome the entire group of youngsters who have been selected to perform various roles and encourage them with positive feedback.
Like many of us in the forum, I too am totally against the leap, but have learnt to accept it, because I know that I can do nothing about it. When I saw Salim for the first time, I thought that EK could have chosen better. But within a couple of days, I started liking this young man. I see him steadily improving, with his performance. He will definitely do very well.
We have been habituated to seeing Jalal and Jodha since one and a half years. Old habits die hard. Our minds are not receptive to sudden change. We should adapt ourselves to this huge change and be happy that we still get to see our favorites, Jalal and Jodha everyday.
