Though my question is if Vikku doesn't troll us then who does? It's like my life on the forum has lost some of its meaning π€£
I was loving Dhruv yesterday but today it seemed a meh from his side. His very innocent, "Maine kya kiya?" had me rolling my eyes. Dude, aag lag gayi teri wajah se and janaab ki masoomiat tou dekho. But not blaming him or anything. It was a discussion which was bound to come. Alya as a character is such a convenient origin for conflict. We always saw glimpses of Alya the family shining through Alya the friend. But those glimpses are now taking over. Harshad kuch bhi ho, at the end of the day he's Alya's real bond in the world. Legally and by world's conventions, Harshad and Alya only have each other. Family tied by blood. Fab5 happened what, seven years ago? That's what I think. But Alya has lived her entire life before that with Harshad only. Those years are bound to show their color now. We know that Harshad is manipulating her, Cabir and Mukti know it to some extent as well, but Alya doesn't. And she can't. Because well..family. The blessing and curse of being family.
Manik had taken a deliberate back step today because Alya's "battle" was with Cabir and Mukti. And I liked it how there were no-holds-barred. Cabir said what was eating him inside, Mukti said what she actually felt, and Alya gave biting words to the disappointment she was facing in this issue from her best friends. I can't personally blame anyone because everyone is right on their own place. Harshad issue is a very touchy thing. What I loved was how Alya didn't call them all saints either. Even in retaliation, Fab5 also did the same things as Harshad. They only had their conscience on their side favoring them, to the eye of a neutral person they both are to be blamed. Khair..touchy topic. And I am not judging it. Just saying how much I enjoyed seeing the stark individuality shine through this tight knitted group. Things were ready to go completely out of hand. This blame game always does that. Ek blame se dusra phir teesra and the result becomes a fight which involves egos and wasted time and efforts. And Manik realized that. He had the sense to stop the things from going overboard.
Cabir walking out Manik's place was natural in reaction to Manik defending Dhruv. It was said in the AT yesterday, Cabir knows the extent to which Manik can go for Dhruv. And in some corner of his mind, Cabir knows that if Manik can do it once for Dhruv then he can do it again. Again, a misconception because Manik ab itna bhi biased nahin hai. He only has control of himself, he wouldn't force his friends to change their stand on any matter to that which would favor Dhruv. But Cabir didn't think about that. And hona bhi aise hi chaiye tha. With tempers soaring high, basic logic goes flying out of the window.
Good to see Cabir and Mukti again though, just talking things out. These two have their own little bond going on, the teasing yet honest kind. Cabir confessed to his humorous and witty nature being just a mask and not his real self. See! Ais liye I said I love this episode. Because it's not making us assume so much as much as it actually confirms our assumptions. There's much to think about but not in a hair pulling out of a way. But rather something which makes us think, 'what next?' And I mean it all in a very positive way.
Precap showed us Dhruv-Alya. Marked divide. And then we had Manik who seriously has no one for his own. I found it a bit...interesting. Like for whole of the show we've seen Manik either bonding perfectly with Dhruv or sharing a bromance with Cabir. But come a conflict, ANY conflict which risks what means the most to Manik, all he can turn to is Nandini. Consciously or subconsciously, he only reaches out to her. Phir bhale hi it's in the form of a spur of a moment "let's take a break" or involuntary press of the call button on his phone. It's rather sweet.
And it would've irked me had not we gotten the MUCH AWAITED Abhimanyu-Nandini scene. YES! Finally! SHE TALKED TO SOMEONE! She told HER side of the story to SOMEONE who's a human and who can reply to her ON THE SPOT. Ab we don't know how much she told him but at least this much we know that she told him the reason why they are apart. I wanted this to happen. Because till now the whole of the story is only exclusive to the participants only - Manik and Nandini. Cabir knows enough to draw up conclusions. And now Abhimanyu knows enough to find solution for it. I was saying this na, they have come to the point where they just can't deal with their issues on their own. Both of them need some outside person to knock some much needed sense into them. Like Abhi didn't even take one second to tell Nandini that she was mixing logic with love while they are both different concepts. But at least we know what Nandini's idea of love is. It's all beauty and magic and happiness. She thinks she doesn't or can't get that from Manik. Now, I disagree with that. She's gotten plenty beautiful and happy moments with Manilk. It's just that recently she's only gotten the sad and heavy things ke she's forgotten them. But it only takes a gaze upon the stars for her to remember them so yes..PROGRESS!
Abhimanyu - BUSS TU MERI JAAN HAI! <3
Soha...thing..just makes me chuckle. She's seriously an item piece. But I take it all in good humor. Manik bechara is a bit stuck with her because she's so in his face. Though all his complains vanish when he so much as senses Nandini in the same room as them, hiding behind the curtain. Then it all becomes a game for him. Aah..me likes, me likes. This weekend is gonna be sad for me, I really wanted a MaNan scene. And the precap didn't even promise us that. Uwaaan. #MaisySad
