All Time Top 12 Lifetime Worldwide Gross Box Office Collections, PK Is On Top In 17 Days

Aamir Khan starrer 'Dhoom 3' became first film to cross 500 cr gross worldwide last year. Film went on to gross 542 cr wich is still a tough target to overhaul. Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Chennai Express' is only other film to cross 400 cr gross worldwide with lifetime score 442 cr.

This time Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bang Bang' has taken a humongous opening and film has crossed 250 cr worldwide gross in 8 days. Film is now 5th best all time worldwide grosser and it will finish with healthy lifetime run.. 

Seasons of biggies is here and 'Happy New Year' did make an impression with record breaking opening day and opening weekend. Film crossed ETT and YJHD in 10 days with 328 cr worldwide gross. Film should overtake 'Bang Bang' by end of the run and should be among top 5 all time worldwide grossers.  Last big release of 2014 'PK' stormed box office with 183 cr nett 1st week number in India and 79 cr in overseas which took it straight to 7th position. Film further added numbers in 3rd weekend and now stands as highest worldwide grosser ever with domestic total of 305.27 cr nett (438 cr gross) and 140 cr overseas (20.50 million $). Film has beaten 'Dhoom 3' in India as well as worldwide gross in 17 days but its interesting to see whether it beats 'Dhoom 3' in overseas too. Historical!

PK 18th Day (3rd Monday) Collection

PK has collected a very well 4-4.25 crore nett on 3rd Monday (18th day) at box office as per estimates. Film hold well on start of 3rd weekday with a drop of around 35-40% from 3rd Friday. Drop is good considering film ticket prices on Monday is lesser than that of Friday. PK 4 day total in 3rd week is now around 31 crore nett. PK total collection after 18 days is approx 309.5 crore nett mark.

PK should add another 10 crore nett at least in 3rd week and that means film will head to around 320 crore nett by the end of 3rd week. PK is certainly looking now to cross 340 crore nett in its lifetime. There is a significant release in Tevar this Friday and if that films fails to make impact on box office, then there is chance that PK might touch the unimaginable 350 crore nett mark also in coming days.

1st Week - 182.95 crore nett.
2nd Week - 95.5 crore nett.
3rd Friday - 6.7 crore nett.
3rd Saturday - 8.3 crore nett.
3rd Sunday - 11.8 crore nett.
