PK 3rd Saturday (16th Day) Collection Update. Good Jump in Multiplexes.

PK has started 3rd Saturday (16th day) at box office very well. Film is showing good jump specially in multiplexes from whatever reports we have. Single screen is holding well and showing reasonable growth from previous day. PK started the day with occupancy in the region of 20%. After that film picked up well and registered a good occupancy of around 35% for Noon shows. Film is expected to show further growth as day progresses as tomorrow is Sunday.

PK is into 3rd week, but there seems no stopping for the film. Audiences are coming back to theaters to watch the flick despite having so many days of theatrical run.

Occuapncy Report of PK for 3rd Saturday Noon shows -

Delhi - 30%
Gurgaon - 45%
Mumbai - 15%
Kanpur - 30%
Lucknow - 35%
Pune - 55-60%
Hyderabad - 50-55%

PK has collected around 6.5+ crore nett for 3rd Friday. 3rd Saturday should show significant jump also. In all likelihood film 3rd weekend is going above 22-23+ crore nett range, looking at the trends so far for the weekend. Chances are there that film might even collect 25 crore nett for the weekend with good jump on day 16 and day 17. PK is set to touch 300 crore on 3rd Sunday to become the first ever Bollywood movie to do so.

i dont like to use such words,but Aamir ne mc bc kar daali ha saare so called superstars ki..talent speaks louder than stardom...ab bichare chunne munne khans records chase karenge...aajao next christmas srk ka ha..dekhte ha kya ukaad leta ha woh...and collections ab boi ke hi maanne honge...cas pk has proved that boi=real trade figures😊

PK Third Friday Business

PK grossed around 6.25 crore nett on its third Friday taking its total to over 283 crore nett. The film should hit the 300 crore nett mark before the end of business on Sunday.

There is a bigger drop in the third week than the second week as the third Friday has dropped around 56% from the previous one while the second Friday had dropped 45%. As the collections are lower there is a chance of higher jumps on weekdays so a 25 crore nett third weekend is a possibility and with that a third week record will be assured.

The lifetime business of the film is looking to finish in the 330-340 crore nett range with a distributor share of 160-165 crore.

PK Hits 500 Crore Worldwide Heads For 600 Crore

PK has touched the 500 crore mark worldwide in two weeks making it the second film after Dhoom 3 to cross 500 crore. The film has grossed 368 crore (Gross) in India and 130 crore in Overseas in two weeks.

The film is looking to be the first film to go over 600 crore mark worldwide. It is already the record grosser in India though overseas it has a long way to go catch the $31.5 million total of Dhoom 2. The film has phenomenaly well in US/Canada and Australia but other markets are not so strong especially Gulf where it may not even be the biggest of the year. United Kingdom, Pakistan and Nepal are below record levels.

Still the film should just about make it above 600 crore worldwide as around $26 million in Overseas will be enough and it should reach that at least.
