"Do you know what it's like to love someone so much,
that you can't see yourself without picturing her?
Or what it's like to touch someone, and feel like you've come home?
... We were, well, meant to be together.
Some people spend their whole lives looking for that one person.
I was lucky enough to have her all along."

It was an embarrassing moment for any parent..to be caught in their moment of intimacy by their child. In Raman Ishita's case the embarrassment had the added complication that it was Adi. The reactions by both were in character. Ishita who is new to this, was feeling really awkward but Raman who has been a parent twice took it in the stride and was okay with it. What he explained to Ishita was spot on...Adi needed to realize that this was a normal part of his and Ishita's relationship as they are a couple.
But tell that to a twelve year old who doesn't know what normal relationship is. Only relationship that he holds dear is the one with his Mom but she's so lost in her own world of scheming for better life for herself that he has to feel responsible for her well-being rather than the other way round. And to come to an unknown environment where the only person he can relate to, his Papa...seems to have moved on to his life with Ishita and Ruhi. So no wonder he feels alone. And then the normal interactions next morning with Ruhi/Shravu and Romi furthers his alienation. Very real feelings for a pre-teen boy who has been estranged from what normal family environment is. How this plays out...has me intrigued.
Now back to the scene of the day for me :
Loved every bit of their conversation...where they started talking about Adi and then talked about themselves ...and the hearty smile they shared at the end...reflected the inner contentment of their happy souls to be in each other's lives...with a promise of forever. I love subtle touches..how he grabbed her hand and enclosed it between his two...and held her shoulder to bring her closer and then the she resting her head onto his shoulder and her eyes shone of the love that she's feeling at that moment...I can go on...It was just magical!
Notes:
- editing could have been a bit better...Adi goes to sleep in Ishra's bedroom..how/when does he come to Ruhi's room?
- Mihika's hand holding of Ashok🤢 ..I felt heartbroken for Mihir...His feelings very normal
- Shagun again playing with Ishita's benevolent heart...
My feelings are all over..so post may feel a bit disjointed. Merry Christmas to all who are celebrating.
