"Do you know what it's like to love someone so much,
that you can't see yourself without picturing her?
Or what it's like to touch someone, and feel like you've come home?
... We were, well, meant to be together.
Some people spend their whole lives looking for that one person.
I was lucky enough to have her all along."

Jodi Picoult

It was an embarrassing moment for any parent..to be caught in their moment of intimacy by their child. In Raman Ishita's case the embarrassment had the added complication that it was Adi. The reactions by both were in character. Ishita who is new to this, was feeling really awkward but Raman who has been a parent twice took it in the stride and was okay with it. What he explained to Ishita was spot on...Adi needed to realize that this was a normal part of his and Ishita's relationship as they are a couple.

But tell that to a twelve year old who doesn't know what normal relationship is. Only relationship that he holds dear is the one with his Mom but she's so lost in her own world of scheming for better life for herself that he has to feel responsible for her well-being rather than the other way round. And to come to an unknown environment where the only person he can relate to, his Papa...seems to have moved on to his life with Ishita and Ruhi. So no wonder he feels alone. And then the normal interactions next morning with Ruhi/Shravu and Romi furthers his alienation. Very real feelings for a pre-teen boy who has been estranged from what normal family environment is. How this plays out...has me intrigued.

Now back to the scene of the day for me :

Loved every bit of their conversation...where they started talking about Adi and then talked about themselves ...and the hearty smile they shared at the end...reflected the inner contentment of their happy souls to be in each other's lives...with a promise of forever. I love subtle touches..how he grabbed her hand and enclosed it between his two...and held her shoulder to bring her closer and then the she resting her head onto his shoulder and her eyes shone of the love that she's feeling at that moment...I can go on...It was just magical!

Notes:
  • editing could have been a bit better...Adi goes to sleep in Ishra's bedroom..how/when does he come to Ruhi's room?
  • Mihika's hand holding of Ashok🤢 ..I felt heartbroken for Mihir...His feelings very normal
  • Shagun again playing with Ishita's benevolent heart...

My feelings are all over..so post may feel a bit disjointed. Merry Christmas to all who are celebrating.

Gan, wonderful collage, beautiful quote and brilliant post.
You have caught the emotions so brilliantly in your collage. Though the scene was only for minutes, looking at your collage, it seems that it was a twenty two minutes episode.

"When you are in love you never really know whether your elation comes from the qualities of the one you love, or if it attributes them to her; whether the light which surrounds her like a halo comes from you, from her,or from the meeting of your sparks"
                                                                                                                  -Natalie Clifford Barney
Nothing mattered to Raman today...his eyes was full of love to his wife...a sweet moment for him. The realisation that Adi saw him hardly mattered him, because that's what he wanted...after he had fallen for her.

Today, Raman, the father of Adi recognized himself and wished that his son should also recognize the fact that Raman, is not only a father to his son, but also a husband to his wife. This man in the early stages of their marriage showered his anger on his wife for seeing him and her together dancing in the holi sequence. He without waiting a second, ran behind his son to make himself clear to the boy that he can never love her...he can only be his children's father...she can be never his wife. The vulnerability of his wife was laid by him to his son. The son, accused her, hated her, insulted her...did everything that a 11 year boy can do to her. When Raman's love for her came, all was changed. For him, that love need acceptance...from his family, from his daughter and at last from his son. This is in a way Raman's journey for that acceptance from his son.

But today, Adi was not able to utter a word against her to his own mother...the result of the strength that Raman gave her. Today, he is envying Ruhi...he felt that she is secure...secure in the hands of Raman papa and Ishita aunty. But, he could not enter to this status quota annoys him...he told Raman papa has no concern for his son. Today, this child was alone...all alone...his mother was in her own state of dilemma...

Today, in that scene had it been Ruhi, she would have surely run to her papa and Ishima...because that's how children are...always in the verge of rejoicing the love of parents...they see the love of parents as the love for themselves.
But never did this boy ran to Ashok and Shagun to get a trio hug...what usually Ruhi gets from her parents... When his mother ran for love with Ashok, the son lost his love,of his father, his family and his mother.

For Ruhi, Ishita had to tell Raman that we should seem like lovey-dovey; and should reduce fighting but to Adi he chose to take the step. He made that clear to her...
Ruhi, at the initial stage of their marriage asked her mother,"pyaar tho dikta hai na", but Adi here will understand what is love...what he often tells and hears is his mumma loves Ashok...but that is wrong, a false pretense--he needs to understand this. The understanding has begun...Ruhi,in her father's words 'bilkul apni Ishima jaise' taught him..."sharing se pyaar badti hai". Today, when Shravan scolded him, Ruhi told Sharvan, "its ok", there he was taught the two types of love...of a brother's (Shravan's) and of a sister's.

"Hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread"
                                                                                                                                       -Mother Teresa.
The boy came to his father and his wife with an emptied bottle, the wife of his father gave a bottle full of water; what he needed... This is what would happen, Ishita will fill the emptiness of that child with love...like she did for Ruhi...

Once again Gan, wonderful post.
Enjoyed reading it.

As usual, brilliant Gan... Today's episode gave one new dimension to this track... When yesterday's episode was at its negative best with vamp's comeback, today's episode had some brilliant pointers...
In the first scene, HERO made his comeback... His son, his Adi saw him with his love who's his son's sauteli ma... in a compromising position... Ishita was shocked and embarrassed. Raman got up without a tint of guilt in his face because he didn't commit any mistake. At the same time, he didn't overlook his responsibility as a father because of his love... He knows that Adi needs to realise the truth before his eyes... He slipped because the timing is not right... Ishita was right... But this beautiful mistake has laid foundation for one divine relationship... Adi now feels unwanted... He finally understands that lacuna... A mother can fill that void and Ishita will fit in that place...

When Ishita offered him sandwich, battle between his mind and heart started... His mind which has been poisoned by his mother says that Ishita is not a good person when his heart refuses to believe... He left... This reminds of one Ishra scene... When Ishita tends to Raman's wound for the first time. When he burns his hand while preparing tea. He couldn't take Ishita's care and ends up shouting at her. That was an beginning like this one...

When Mihika is going to torture Ashok, Shagun is doing this honour on her hold by losing her hold over her son... Out and out positive... Apart from Ishita's mahaanta, i can bear with anything else... cv's know what they are doing... They are making Raman slip at places because Adi needs a mother more than a father...

One vulnerable kid who needs love, one mother whose bosom is full of love, one mother who is blinded by revenge, one lover who is finally giving his wife the much needed love, one lover who is finally following his brother's steps, one sister who has lost her love but not her courage and finally one villian who wants to benefit from these falling relations who is going to end up losing everything...

This track will irritate us but YHM's midas touch will rectify things at the end...

Lovely collage and beautiful quote. I wonder why a few fans can't cherish these romantic moments instead of holding a negative opinion about a scene or any dialogue.
Ur posts are always so positive.  No matter how idiotic the story is going we should still cherish the moments between ishita n raman.
