I like this idea of Abhi appreciating her for the way she is, the way she dresses up. At the same time, Abhi is not someone who is just into looks, emotions do matter to him. So Abhi can fall for a girl solving ice cream fight between two kids, so it's not like making him appreciate looks aren't everything.
Coming back to Pragya, her dressing sense is plain boring. No question on that, even Sarla, Daadis and Dassis dress way better. Now Pragya is in silly airy love, at least that should make her dress different.
