I think that the character playing Ishaan is doing a very good job actually.
His eyes are extremely expressive and his voice is very original-it's growing on me.
Why compare him with Mohit Malik? It's comparing apples and oranges.
MM plays a different character and plays him "big" whereas, Ishaan plays Ishaan!
A softer person with a quiet strength. I believe that the contrast between the two is actually a part of the storyline and was intended that way. Basically to show that if you are on the side of justice you don't have to scream loudly to win or be "heard." Also, I believe that Ishaan and URmi will become a couple and URMi would never be with anybody that is as loud and larger than life as Samrat. We always tend to gravitate towards the opposite when we come out of a bad relationship.
As for the individual who mentioned Karan Sing Grover, I strongly disagree. I think KSG was such an overrated actor. No disrespect to him whatsoever but all he ever did was always talk on the same tone and then just blink and widen his eyes. No nuance at all. I don't mean any disrespect btw to the person who posted this or the actor.
Just curious, Ishaan's Hindi accent seems very different to me. Can anyone comment on this?
I do not speak Hindi so I am basing myself purely on what I hear...
