Scene 1: Location: Avni and Raj's residence
Anjali collapses as she reminisces all the went through after her marriage to Vikram together with his troubles. She blames Bhawna and says it's all due to her, she also adds that she's also guilty as well as Vikram. Raj is dismayed. At Avni's house, Bhawna relaxes and sits with Avni but she is shocked when a family picture falls to the ground and shatters into pieces signifying a bad omen and trouble in the family. Avni is tensed.
Virat prompts Raj and instigates him by asking him how Avni's family found out about Sangeeta's past. He instigates Raj further by telling him that no one other than Bhawna knew the truth. Raj instantly doubts Avni and wonders if she is the cause of all of this. Straightway, Raj calls Avni and tells her to meet him as there are a lot of questions that need answers.
Scene 2: Location: On the road
In a rage, Abhaas asks Virat why he called him in the middle of the road. Virat mocks him and says that his mother kept a secret from them for so many years and his sister is following in the same footsteps. Abhaas grips his collar and asks him not to slander Avni. Virat then shows him Raj and Avni's marriage certificate horrifying Abhaas while Virat is amused. He tells Abhaas to do as he pleases with Avni but not to lay a finger on Raj. Abhaas is vexed and says he will teach Raj a lesson for trapping Avni and misleading her. Abhaas leaves while Virat smiles victoriously as he managed to get the reaction he wanted.
Similarly, somewhere on another road, Raj and Avni get into a verbal brawl while each of them defends their own family. Avni tells Raj that she laments the fact that she got married to him. In anger, Raj tells her that he frees her from their marriage because no one knows about their relation so she should get out of his life. Avni tells him that she's happy with that decision and carries on telling him that she doesn't care because he never loved her in the first place. They walk off in opposite directions in the heavy rain.
Scene 3: Location: Raj and Avni's residence.
Avni gets to her house soaked in rain and is distraught while she remembers Raj's words. She is shocked to find Suket sitting sad and Akshat as well. She avoids Bhawna and walks into the house. After she leaves, Abhaas walks in behind and is in a daze as he remembers the marriage certificate. When in inside, Avni finds Arpita sitting depressed as well. She then again recalls Raj's first proposal and then recollects his betrayal after. She takes Raj's pictures and talks to them. Avni blames herself for marrying him and promising to support him unite the families because all their attempts were futile. She says that nothing can wipe away the enmity there is between the families and nothing apart from fights can be expected. She says that now they (her&Raj) also fight so there's no point of the sacred fire. She falls lifelessly to the floor in tears. Abhaas sees her in the disheveled state. Avni says she loves Raj very much and when the first marriage was called off; she was able to handle herself somehow but what can be done now. But she composes herself and says that she cannot be selfish anymore and if her family doesn't want to accept Raj then she will also forget him and move on because she can't torture her family. She rips Raj's picture into pieces. Abhaas is saddened seeing her in that helpless state and recalls his promise to Avni that he would her and Raj reunited. He then promises himself to sort out the misunderstandings between them.
Raj walks in his house troubled. Virat sees him and is happy at his plight but he then fakes concern. He asks Raj what's the cause behind his sadness and if he's okay. He also asks him where he had gone. Raj asks Virat not to interfere because his mood is already foul. Abhaas calls Raj and reveals that he knows about his and Avni's marriage. He also tells Raj he knows that they both have endured a lot. Abhaas then tells Raj if he wishes to sort out the misunderstandings and end the enmity between the two families then he should meet him instantly in an unknown location. Raj is horrified and repeats the address. Virat then says that if Abhaas called you to meet him then you should carry something for precaution. He hands over a hockey stick to Raj but he refuses to take it citing that it won't be needed. Virat pressurizes him and Raj agrees to keep it in the car.
Abhaas sees Akshat upset in his room. Abhaas tells Akshat that when Suket was infuriated with him and Arpita; only Bhawna was able to pacify him by advising him that if hatred is all there is, then love will never blossom. Abhaas tells Akshat that it's time to return the favor. He tells him that he's leaving for sometime and Akshat should tell Arpita to take good care of Bhawna while he's gone. Akshat agrees. Abhaas goes to Bhawna's room and sees that she is asleep. He presses her feet and that causes her to wake up. Abhaas tells her that he loves her very much and for him she will always remain the same mother. He says that he is very proud that she taught him; people are not wrong, situations are wrong. He promises her to change the circumstances. Bhawna looks at him with love as Abhaas kisses her on her forehead. The screen freezes on her face.
Precap: Virat thrashes Abhaas mercilessly and throws him off a cliff while Abhaas is unconscious. Abhaas is shown in the hospital fighting for his life while his family devastatingly tries to find out the ruthless person behind Abhaas's state. Abhaas hardly manages to utter Raj's name while the heart rate machine flat lines signifying his death. The family is shocked.
