CID in comic form to hit stores
At a time when the germ of an idea of Munnabhai MBBS comics has hit news pages, CID, by Fireworks Productions, is all set to hit the news stands. This comic is based on the show that has been ruling Sony Entertainment Television for nine years. CID's timeless characters including ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam), senior inspector Abhijeet (Aditya Shrivastav), inspector Daya (Dayanand Shetty), inspector Fredricks (Dinesh Phadnis) and forensic doctor Dr Niyati (Shweta Kawatra) will shortly come alive on comic books.
Says B.P. Singh, the man behind the idea, "We had conceived the thought long ago, and work was on. In a matter of just six months, and now we are ready to roll." With over 500 stories in bank, and the on-air supporting system of Sony Entertainment Television, CID will have no dearth of story ideas.
