Riti, did Dury actually apologise to Bheeshm?? Did Bheeshm actually refuse to bless Dury to be victorious instead gave it to Yudy? Did Bheeshm actually say all that to Dury??

or is it all this for drama sake?

epic dury did feel after bheeshma's death..after all he was his grandfather.. I am not sure if he cried..coz as far as i remember he cried only during karna's death... but he was far more humane than star dury for sure...

as far as bheeshma to dury.. Well that might be true but doubt that... Problem with Bheeshma was that he loved all his grandchildren alike..

Some incidents they show do have mention in remotest and unheard versions or even folk tales... they are just picking most emotional ones from various versions...some indian..some indonesian..some cambodian..🤔 and God knows which one.. I bet writer spent 5 years in that only..searching all possible versions of story..
