I never watched during Puja track but i have seen Sonarika's different sarees. Hope the makers do the same here and hope there would be more stories to come for Suhasi to show the various side of her acting Smile

Sonarika changed lot of costumes during Jalandhar track
But most of the time it was Red or white
But with puja they became fixated on one costume only
Hope that changes

But actually there was an interview of the costume designer in which she said as sati was a FICTIONAL   ( the lady knows nothing ) character she experimented with her dresses but as Parvati is a Goddess she doesn't want to experiment

But I guess the costume designer is ignorant
Sati is not fictional and Parvati wears many colours

If one visits Devi temples she wears different colours on different days

While we are at Parvati's costumes, can i just add that DKDM never got it right..I mean for Parvati as princess ,glittery costume was a necessity but for Parvati as Shiva's wife, her costume description is already present in the Hindu texts, it is said that her "look" is similar to her husband which is reminiscent to her Maheshwari or Bhrahmani avatars- she wears simple clothing with a crown of matted hair (like Shiva) & adorns it with a crescent moon ( like Shiva)..Howvever she adorns beautiful glittery costumes when she changes into various forms of Adi Shakthi & each form has its own specific "look".. i think the older serial "Om Namah Shivay" paid such attention to detail but since DKDM has already been established as some sort of fictional show, they have showed their own version of Parvati Maa & since they have taken it there, they might as well put some more effort & show Parvati in different creative costumes...Smile

I think shows these days don't really follow the olden days scriptures. Many things is changed or modified for the story since its a fictional show. Like i follow Mahabharat show and many of the details have been changed from what i had read online or shown in the previous version Confused

Agree with you.
But Devi Parvati does wear jewellery and different colours
Actually in shiv puran it's mentioned that she has full freedom to dress up the way she wants though mostly she chooses to dress up SImply

Her navdurga forms wear many ornaments and glittery costumes

Devi saptashati has a whole chapter dedicated to what all jewellery Goddess wore before she went on to kill mahishasur

Mostly the costume colour in DS Is red.

I am ok with red colour but parvatis red and white dress looks old and lack lustre
