Hogwarts Alumni Newsletter: Emma Watson graduates, Tom Felton plays a creep, and more!

By Erin Strecker on May 27, 2014 at 4:15PM  @erinstrecker

Break out your Marauder's Map, Invisibility Cloak and Time-Turner: It's time for another Hogwarts Alumni Newsletter.

Its been nearly a year since the last installment of  Hogwarts' Alumni Newsletter, a post designed to keep you all informed of the latest happenings from Hogwarts' most famous young wizard alums (err, or the actors who portray them). While the main trio may not be reuniting to film a video for Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter, as was a recent rumor, many of the now-grown-up cast have announced various upcoming projects over the past few weeks.

Below, see highlighted (read: not comprehensive) accomplishments that have been announced recently, as well as the resulting even more subjective list of House Points. Surprise! Gryffindor looks like it's going to snag the House Cup once again.

Most Likely to be Confused with Her Character: Emma Watson
In addition to juggling a movie career, Watson graduated from Brown University over the weekend,  out the above super-cute cap and gown graduation pic. Does she have her own personal Time-Turner or something?

Most Likely to Portray the Star of Your Sexual Nightmares: Tom Felton
You can currently catch Felton in theaters portraying hot-but-creepy James Ashford, an awful suitor, in the excellent film Belle. Last week, he appeared on The CW in the miniseries Labyrinth.

Most Likely To Find a Second Career as a Singer: Rupert Grint
Last week, Grint surprised the Internet by being credited with a pop song on the soundtrack to the film Postman Pat: The Movie. And we're now seriously disappointed the films didn't squeeze in a music class in between Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Most Likely to Continue to Crank Out Solid Work in a Variety of Projects: Daniel Radcliffe

Radcliffe is currently starring on Broadway in The Cripple of Inishmaan, and last week signed on to star in  the film adaptation of Dave Eggers' You Shall Know Our Velocity. In addition to various other film projects in the works " who else can't wait forWhat If? -  Radcliffe gets an additional 25 House Points for not having any kind of PR disaster in his highly-scrutinized post-Potter years.

Most Likely to Have Harry Potter be the Second Most Famous Franchise He Stars In: Domhnall Gleeson

For those living under a rock: Last month Gleeson -a.k.a. oldest Weasley Bill -  was announced as part of the cast of the highly, highly anticipated Star Wars Episode VII, and will soon be trading in wands for lightsabers.
