Chapter 1

Dr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat was going through some official papers in his hotel room at Delhi, enjoying a cup of coffee in his left hand, when receptionist informed him that he had a visitor.  His best buddy, his confidante Dr. Vishal came to see him.  After exchanging the pleasantries, Vishal asked Randhir about the purpose of his visit to Delhi and how long he will be at Delhi?  Randhir told him the about the medical conference he has to attend in Delhi and about some personal errands he needed his attention. Randhir noticed some confusion on his best friend's face.

After a lot of persuasion Vishal told him about his patient, her case history and asked if he can be needful. Dr. Randhir after checking his appointment diary and details of his departure flight agreed to see the patient next morning By now Vishal placed the case file in front of Randhir. He saw the name of the patient on file Sanyukta Agarwal.. Ohh so patient is a girl.. then I am very interested .. infact I would delay my flight if need be,  there was a sly grin on Dr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat's face. Dr. Vishal slapped on his friend's tu nahin sudhrega. You are still as flirt as you were in college days..

Few minutes later, after having a friendly chit chat, reminiscing their college days, the girls in their college etc etc. Vishal left after taking promise from Randhir that tomorrow he will be going to see Sanyukta Agarwal with him.  

As promised next day Dr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat reached at Holy Family Hospital, to see his friend Dr. Vishal Malhotra. After a while, Vishal asked Randhir, did he go through the file last night and on that Randhir nodded affirmatively and asked when can he meet the girl. Vishal fished out his mobile from his pocket and dialled Mr. Agarwal, and explained it to him that his friend who is specialist in field is interested in Sanyukta's case and if he (Mr. Agarwal) is willing, he (Dr. Randhir) would like to do some test on Sanyukta. For Mr. Agarwal, anyone who can even give a slightest hope is equal to God. And it was decided that next day Dr. Vishal Malhotra will take Dr. Randhir to Agarwal Mansion.

Next Day at Agarwal Mansion :

As decided Vishal took Randhir to Agarwal Mansion to see Sanyukta. And something stirred inside him while seeing a girl who should be walking, playing, having fun, is lying listlessly on her bed. He suppressed his desire to go and caress her forehead.
