^^ Yes, they both were important in the Kurukshetra, but bot characters had been left out in the SP MB..
Satyaki: the famous Yadava warior, son of Satyak and grandson of Sini, was the cousin of Krishna and student of Arjuna. He was a skilled warrior and great bowman. In the Kurukshetra war, Satyaki broke the bow of Dronacharya 108 times. He killed warriors like Bhoorishravas, King Salwa, Somdatta, Chitrasen, Jalasandh and many others. His ten sons were killed in the war. He was one of the 10 survivors of the war. He was killed by men from his own clan 36 years after the war in the famous Yaduvanshi slaughter.

and

Kripacharya: The warrior Brahmn - Son of Sharadwan and grandson of Sage Gautama, Kripacharya was the chief Guru of Hastinapur. He taught Vedas and martial arts to Kauravas, Pandavas and almost all the warriors of Kurukshetra. He was a born archer. In the war, he killed Suketu and was involved in the killing of Abhimanyu. He was one of the 10 survivors of the war. On the night of the last day of the war, he helped his nephew Ashwatthama in the merciless killing of the sons of Draupadi and the remaining Panchals. He was reinstated as chief Guru after the war and he was the perceptor of grandson of Pandavas and then their great grandson. Kripacharya is one of the eight chiranjeevis and is believed to be still alive.

In the Kurukshetra war, Satyaki and Kritavarma were two important Yadava heroes who fought on the opposing sides. Satyaki fought on the side of the Pandavas, whereas Kritavarma joined the Kauravas. Satyaki and Kritavarma both survived the Kurukshetra conflict. Kritavarma is involved in the slaughter of the Panchalas and the sons of the Pandavas in the undeclared night attack with Kripacharya and Ashwatthama . 36 years after the war, the Yadavas , including Satyaki and Kritavarma are involved in a drunken brawl, with Satyaki accusing Kritavarma of killing sleeping soldiers and Kritavarma criticizing Satyaki for his beheading of the unarmed Bhurisravas. In the ensuing melee, Satyaki, Kritavarma and the rest of the Yadavas are exterminated, as it was ordained by Gandhari's curse. Krishna desired to remove the Yadava clan from earth at the same time as his Avatar is fulfilled, so that the earth may be free of any possibly sinful and aggressive warriors, which was the wider purpose of the Kurukshetra war. Satyaki is also noted as an ayurvedic physician who was an expert in Shalya (surgery) and Shalakya (Eye/ENT), he is mentioned by Dalhana in Timir and Annantvat( sushrut Uttartantra) and by Chakrapani in Netraroga (Charak). Descendants Asanga was son of Satyaki and Yugandhara was his grandson. Yugandhara later became the ruler of the territory near the Sarasvati River
