In the movie, they had a 'midnight rendezvous' as Arshi calls it. Within days of his arrival to her place. And they admired each other from the beginning.

The movie showed very good romance actually. For a period movie(it was set in early 20th century/late 19th century) it was quite good.

Our show is not a period show. Its contemporary. But romance is shown in a very kanjuus way.😭

In the movie, the romance was muhch much much better, because Nutan ws the lead. That song Chandan sa badan was epic, and to think that movie came out in 1968. Now more than 45 years later, the main actress does not look comfortable with close physical scenes. If gautam Rode had someone of the calibre of Nutan in the form of Kumud, I believe the romantic scenes would have put the screen on fire.

So true kiran, Nutan sure was a brilliant actor and a true proffessional. 😊
