The last episode ended with DK throwing the Thali from Disha's hands and Disha looking back at him defiantly. DK tells Disha that he hates this festival and it will never be celebrated in his house. He says that he is being patient with Disha because her father has just expired and that she is disturbed, but he warns her not to test his patience anymore, or else things will get very bad for Disha. He walks away to his room furiously leaving behind a Disha who's eyes well up with tears. She sits down on the staircase and remembers her last Diwali which she celebrated with her family. Dev comes and pacifies her & both of them generally chat about her family. She talks about her father whom she loved greatly and about Ranu and says that she misses them deeply. Dev tells her to go and visit them, but Disha says that she has lost her place in her family after her marriage. Dev cheers her up and both of them have an emotional moment together.
DK is in his Office with his stupid, good for nothing girlfriend Sanya. DK says that till date no one has ever dared stand in front of DK and that Disha is openly defying him. DK tells Sanya that Disha is becoming coming quite a pest and that she has unsettled his life. Sanya very sarcastically retorts back that it is DK who has given such liberty to Disha that she is becoming so bold. DK throws a cold look at Sanya and tells her not to pour oil on troubled waters. He says that he is just waiting for the modelling assignment to get over and then he will get rid of his so called wife. Sanya tells him that she is not sure whether getting rid of Disha will be all that easy, DK just looks back at her with a "What makes you say that" kind of glance.
At the Bhonsale house, Sukanya is playing cards with some friends of hers when Azuba comes and tells her that there has been a death in the family and that why is she doing all this. Sukanya is very rude to Azuba and Suhasini hears the conversation and feels very bad but does not say anything. Inder comes in and notices that Ranu is very upset, he cheers her up and both of them share a very sweet moment together. Ranu tells Inder that she misses Disha very much and that she hopes she is happy in her marriage. Inder is very overwhelmed by this statement and remembers Disha, he tries to shrug off her memories, but is unable to do so.
The next day Disha is reading the newspaper when she sees an article with DK's photo in it, the article talks about the Kanaka Diwali Bash which is like THE PLACE to be. She asks Dev about it, to which he says that the entire business fraternity and media comes in droves and the party is the hippest and most happening thing as DK is a very reclusive person and this is the only time when he makes a public appearance. Disha reads the article again which says that everyone is eagerly waiting for the party of the year. Disha smiles to herself and thinks that everyone remebers DK's party for the whole year, she says that she will make this year's party so eventful that everyone who attends it will remember it for the rest of their lives!
