Anandi got up early next morning to pack their stuff.She was really exited to spend this Holi with her new family.She was finished very soon and went to make lunch.The doorbell rang.She went to open it.She was surprised to see who was at the door.
Dadisa and Bhairon:Ghani khama chori.
Anandi:Khama ghani.How may I help you?
Bhairon:We wanted to talk you beta.
Shiv:But does she want to talk to you after all things you've said to her.
Anandi was surprised to see Shiv came behind her.
Bhairon:You don't understand.We want to apologize.
Anandi:I don't want your apology.Ma said all those terrible things to me and you supported her.And I know she wasn't pretending.
Dadi sa:Can we please come in and explain everything?
Anandi:Alright I guess you can.
They came in and sat in the living room.
Shiv:Alright now say what you want.
Dadi sa:Sumitra wasn't pretending to hate you.She blamed you for her son being away from her.
Anandi:I knew that.
Dadi sa:But we didn't agree with her.At least not completely.I was truly sorry for what she said to you but there was nothing I could do.
Anandi:Of course there was Dadi sa.You couldn't stop her from hating me,but you could at least disagree with her if you really did.
Dadi sa:Chori I didn't want to make your life complicated.
Anandi:Don't make any excuses Dadi sa.I understand.You wanted you grandson more than me.And let me guess as soon as we left you called Gauri and...him,I can't even take his name, to live with you 'cause I was the only thing stopping you,and as soon as they left you again you came to apologize to me.
Dadi sa:That's kinda true but...
Anandi:But nothing...
Dadi sa:Chori we honestly wanted to apologize.
Anandi:For what?Behaving like you want to?'Cause I shouldn't be the stopping you at being who you are.
Bhairon:Beta can you please forgive us?
Anandi:If I forgive you,it won't change anything.I will never return to that house again and you know why.
Bhairon:We understand that beta...
Dadi sa:Chori please,I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you' hated me.
Anandi:I never hatted you Dadi sa.I was just dissapointed.And of course I forgive you.
Dadi sa:Thank you chori.We better leave now.
As Anandi was about to stand up she felt a pain in her stomach.
Anandi:Ow!
Shiv:What's wrong Anandi?
Anandi:It's nothing.It's just...they're kinda kickers.
Bhairon:What do you mean they?
Anandi:Oh,we're having twins.
Bhairon:Twins?That's amazing!
Anandi:We know.We're really excited.
Dadi sa:You should.Have a happy Holi chori.
Shiv:You too.
They bid their goodbyes and left.
Anandi:I'm really glad this happened.
Shiv:Me too.I'm glad you're happy.
Anandi:I am.Come on we have to go if we want to be on time.
Anandi packed lunch and they were off to Udaiypur.While they were on the way Anandi fell asleep and leaned on Shiv's shoulder.When they arrived Shiv tried to wake her up.
Shiv:Anandi...Anandi wake up...we're there...Anandi.
Anandi:Huh?
Shiv:We're here.
Anandi:Already?
Shiv:Yes.
When they got out of the car they were greeted by everyone.Dadu gave Anandi flowers.
Anandi:Thank you Dadu they're beautiful.
Dadu:Not as beautiful as you beta.Shiv you picked up a very beautiful wife.
Anandi blushed.
Ira:Come on beta,come inside.
When they come in Ira told them to go and freshen up.As soon as Anandi got in their room she remembered their wedding night and felt shy.She changed into a beautiful new dress and went out for dinner.Shiv was mesmerized by her beauty.After all the Holi rituals were done they sat down for dinner.Anandi was sitting across the table from Shiv and he couldn't stop staring at her.Mahi noticed that.
Mahi:Bhaiya,will you stop staring at bhabi and eat something?
Meenu:Mahi!
Mahi:What?
Meenu:Just stop looking out other people's plates and look at yours.
Mahi:Fine.
Anandi couldn't not laugh at this.
Ira:Anandi beta don't pay attention to him.You go and rest.Tomorrow will be a busy day.
Anandi:Sure Ma.
Anandi barely fell asleep out of excitement.The next morning Anandi woke up early and saw Shiv was nowhere to be found.She got into a white dress and was brushing her hair when she saw Shiv coming near her.She turned his side.
Anandi:Happy Holi Shiv?
Shiv:Happy Holi to you too.
There was paint on his hands and he painted her cheeks with it.
Shiv:Come on.Everybody's waiting for us.
The celebration started soon.Everybody was singing and dancing.Anandi was sitting on a swing with Choti Ma.Sanchi and Mahi ran to them.
Mahi:Come on bhabi.Come and dance with us.
Anandi:Sorry Mahi bhaiya.I wish I could but I can't.
Sanchi:Of course you can.Just a little,please.
Anandi:Alright,but a little.
Anandi started to dance with them.Suddenly she felt the whole world got blurry.She stopped.She could hear people calling her name but couldn't see them.Everything got dark.
When Anandi opened her eyes she was laying on the bed in her and Shiv's room.Everyone was looking at her with a worried face.
Shiv:Anandi are you alright?
Anandi:Yes...I'm fine.
Ira:Beta don't scare us like that ever again.
Sanchi:This is all our fault.We made you dance.
Anandi:No Sanchi,don't worry,it's not your fault.I'm really sorry I ruined your celebration.
Dadu:What are you talking about?You didn't ruin anything.The celebration just started.But you'll have to stay here and rest.
Shiv:Of course she will.And I'm gonna stay with her.
Anandi:No, Shiv.You go and have fun.I can stay by myself.Actually I'll go too.But I won't move from that swing.Please?
Shiv:Alright.
They continued their celebration and it turned out to be the best Holi ever.
