Hello people,

Yes I am bringing back this story in this forum...somewhere I believe this forum will remain even after the series ends and thus trying my luck...hope i wont be disheartened...😕

Nways a big hug and loads and loads of kisses and hugs to those who have followed this story of mine..which had initially started being an OS and finally turned into an FF...😳😳

CHAPTER 14

Arjun and Roshni started investigating the case and suspected the bank manager to be involved in all this.

They went to meet the manager next morning at the bank.But to their dismay he was transfered to a different city.They tried to investigate about the case but since it was years old,too much help was not available.They couldnt try much coz they were not assigned the case officially.

So,Arjun and Roshni contacted Sam and with his authority's help acquired list of witnesses and evidences of the case but he too couldnt help much,coz he needed official orders to excute the file.They activated their circle of informers and tried to search any possible link to karan's father's innocence.

Arjun and Roshni went to meet the bank manager at Pune,where he was working at present.The bank manager was literally shocked at the sudden investigations.He was not to eager to help them but Arjun's badge and a glare from him,made him open his mouth.Though Arjun suspected he didnt let out the whole truth.

The Bank Manager informed them that Karan's Father,Mr. Mohan was incharge of the cash counter in his bank.He was working with the bank for around 14 years when he was suspected of forgery.He informed lakhs of money had been washed away by him.He had even informed about a some illegal papers that were found in his desk and also a few customers had reported of,which he had given as evidences in the court and also to the investigating police officer.

Arjun and Roshni felt disgusted talking with the man and went out of the bank angrily.

'Ye aadmi jhoot kehe raha hai,iske chehere se saaf pata chalta hai,'roshni said angrily,

'haan,lekin ye kiya chupa raha hai,ye kaise pata kare?'arjun replied,

'ek din agar mere cell mein daal dete na to puri baat zuban pe aise aa jati,'Roshni muttered angrily,

Arjun heard it and was amused at her.He checked her out once and then her angry glares at the building behind and walked off shaking his head.

They headed back towards Mumbai.In between the journey Sam called to ask about their findings.They informed about the bank manager and his words.Sam heard them quitely and then said he would check on the details from the police and also try to get the case file.

Arjun planned to meet the investigating officer at mumbai and they hurried back to mumbai.They reached mumbai by evening and went to meet the investigating officer,Ajay Shukla.He had a corrupted reputation in the department just like his corrupted nature.Arjun took his seat in front of him while Roshni stood behind Arjun.

'Acp Arjun Rawte?Yaha mere police station mein kiyu?'

'Mr Mohan Shrivastav,yaad hain?'

'wo to jail mein khud khusi kar liya tha,ap kiyu aye hai itni purani baat leke?'Sukhla asked
thoughtfully,

'wo tumhe janne ki zaroorat nehi hai sukhla,mujhe us case ke sare file chahiye,'

'Case file?wo case kab ka band ho chuka hai,jali papers dikhanke paise aait raha tha kamina,jab sazaa mili to khud khusi kar liya tha,ab usme kuch baki nehi hai,'

'Mohan ka beta Karan wo case abhi bhi lar raha hai,tumhe to pata hi hoga,'

'haan wo uska sanky beta,kitna samjhya,per manta hi nehi,ab uska baap gaddhar tha to use to sazaa milegi na?sare saboot uske khilaf the,khair ab aakhri din,ab uske sare par kat jayenge,mujhe damki de raha tha sala,'

Roshni fisted her palms on the chair almost in the verge of pouncing and sraching this man in front but Arjun held her hand and squeezed it.She looked at him and went out angrily.

'mujhe wo sare saboot dekhne hai,'Arjun said calmly,

'Rawte saab,kiyu is jhanjhat mein par rahe ho,case to khatam ho gaya,ab faltu mein ye sab karke apna time waste kiyu kar rahe hai,'

Arjun stood up and glared at Shukla,

'mein time waste kar raha hu ya nehi ye mujhe samajne do shukla aur ja kehe raha hu wo karo,evidences chahiye,samjhe ya...'

Shukla too stood up angrily and glared back at arjun,

'tum mere police station mein ake mujhe aise dhamki nehi de sakte rawte,'

'acha mein kiya kar sakta hu ye tujhe abhi tak nehi pata shukla,tu kaisa kam karta hai mujhe sab pata hai,aur agar...'

Arjun words trailed off when the phone on the desk rang suddenly.Shukla took a minute and picked it up,sitting on the way.He heard the caller and stood up again,

'Jai Hind Sir,haan wo,per wo to mein,jee sir,haan sir thik hai,Jai hind sir,'and the conversation ended.

He glared again at Arjun who had also sat down with legs crossed resting on knee on the bridge of the table,playing with a paper weight.

'Aa sun mohan ki case file leke aa,'Shukla said looking ar Arjun who was smirking.

The constable brought the file and gave it to Arjun.He took a look at it and went away with it.Shukla angrily banged his fist on the desk and took out his mobile.

Karan was searching for Payal for the last half an hour,finally he heard her giggling and laughing in the garden.He walked to her.Her cheeks and hands were smudged with mud.She was planting a small rose plant at the rear end of the garden with her friends.

He called her and she looked back,pushing the strip of hair fallen on her face,with the back of her palm,all the while smudging mud on the face.

'karan...ye dekho,meine kiya.acha hai na?'payal looked up smiling,

'uska pata nehi,lekin tum kafi achi lag rahi ho,aj se na make up ki jagah zara mitti laga lena,'
Karan replied smirking,

'karan,'payal shouted and angrily threw a basket of wet mud filled water on him,which fell on his tshirt and hands,

'pagal bewakoof larki,nahake aya tha mein,'

Payal started laughing her lungs out looking at the muddy hands and legs.

'acha hai, firse naha lo,waise bhi kitne gande ho tum karan,kitne saal nehi nahaye,'she said pinching her nose and making a weird stinky face,

'Ruk payal ki bachi,nahana kise keheta hai mein bata ta hu,'

Karan took the pipe used for watering the plants and started showering water on her.Payal got up and ran but Karan held her back by holding her hand.She kept on struggling to release her hand but his grip was getting stronger and he held her in his arms holding the pipe on her head to let the water wet her completely.

She was struggling in his arms in the beginning but when he held her close to him and made her wet,she was feeling shy.But the strangest thing that bothered her was she was feeling shy but didnt want to get away from his arms.She felt so protected and calm in his embrace.

She felt the water has stopped pouring on her and looked up at Karan.He had thrown the pipe away and was looking intently at her.She tried to read his eyes again but again failed to read the sudden emotions in them.She was lost in his deep eyes when she felt his hold lossen and she frowned.

Karan held her to take his revenge but in the process he was lost in her innocent eyes.He could feel her wet body shivering in his arms.He held her tight in his arms and held the pipe more closer to wet her hair.The wet hair stuck to her face with the wind and disturned her.His emotions and passion started building inside him.He wished to hold her close to him and feel her but then the reality dawned on him.She didnt deserve someone like him.She deserved much better.

He was ashamed of his addiction for the first time,his past,his loss,everything came smashing down on him.Remorse and regret filled him making him let go of her.He left her,but then she suddenly looked at him with eyes full of questions.He knew the questions but didnt have an answer.He composed himself from her piercing vision and walked back from her making some distance to let her walk away.

'Samaj aya,mere sath doobara hosiyari maat karna,'Karan flipped his color up and walked away proudly.

Payal was confused.His eyes showed a sudden remorse.She kept looking at the man who now was amusing her,talking chirpily with others on the way.

or yahan to dekho payal or karan ko..😆 payal or karan ki story easily set nahi honewali hai..karan chahkar bhi apni feelings usko nahi batayega..bechari payal confusewa gayi hai..😉
