This story starts with Veeba meeting first time after growing up...All the other characters r same..I changed their first meeting in my story..Hope you don't mind..😳

PROLOGUE:-
Baldev again stood up and walked impatiently..
He walked towards thelawala selling kulfi...
"Bhaia what's the time?"
"It's 12:30.."The man replied,surprising Baldev in the process.
With a dark frown on his brows he walked back towards the bus stand,or to be precise,the place that was considered by Pritampura people as just that..A place under the open sky,where a lone broken stool sat on its old rickety legs..
Baldev showed angry eyes to a young boy,who instantly emptied his place allow Baldev to seat instead.He sat like the royalty,he was always told by his mother that he was..Lost in his musings..
He loathed giving in to Surjeet Singh's demands,but he was helpless..All because he wanted to be a sarpaanch at any cost..
And at the stupid man's bidding,he was here at the bus stand to receive Surjeet Singh's sister..Who was supposed to be here by 11 am..And it was already 12:30 pm..
Baldev cursed himself again..
Impatiently he called Surjeet Singh..
After two minutes he nearly threw his phone in anger as the line was cut from the other side.
That scoundrel!He is even a bigger one than me!If he knew his sister isn't coming,from one hour ago,why didn't he inform me before?!!Baldev thought angrily,gritting his teeth and clenching his hand into tight fists..
He stood up angrily ready to cross the road,as his jeep was parked on the other side.
He had taken just one step when a bus suddenly came out of nowhere and did a hard break infront of him..
"SALA KAMINA!DOES ANYONE DRIVE LIKE THIS?!!"He shouted at the driver who seemed to be deaf to his shout.
He folded his jacket sleeve up,and walked towards the bus door,all ready to get into a fight with the driver..
He could not even step close to the narrow doorway,as a crowd of people seemed to be coming out of the bus,and also getting into the bus all at the same time..
"ARREY BAAP RE!MELA LAGA HAI KYA?!!I did not even know such a huge number of people lives in Pritampura!!!"He thought aloud in wonder,as he stood watching people squeezing and pushing themselves into and out of the bus..
Finally when he thought,the doorway was empty enough for him to confront the driver,the bus suddenly started moving with a jolt and a loud screech ..Just like the way it had stopped ..
Baldev never even got the time to react,as simultaneous with the jolt of the bus,he heard a squeak from somewhere above him..
And before he knew what was happening,a slight feminine form fell from the roof of the bus directly onto his lap,and a large suitcase which seemed like the fallen female body's luggage fell with a thud just beside him..
Amazed,Baldev forgot to breathe for a few seconds..
Finally he managed to breathe in,and looked down at the slight figure in his arms..
A slight smirk on his chiseled male lips,thinking how God had been so generous to him today..He had not even asked for it,and He had blessed him with a whole living breathing girl for him,and that also directly into his arms..
As the thoughts passed through his brain,his eyes took in her attire in jeans and tops..He frowned at that..
Chalo!Koi nai!I will change her dressing style..He thought smugly,as his eyes moved up..
The girl was still breathing heavily,shaken by the fall,he realised,taking in her fine feminine assets..
Hmmm..Not bad at all..Mujhe to chalega!He thought with a devilish grin,as his eyes reluctantly moved up to study her face..
He frowned irritatedly again..The girl's face was completely covered by her wild open locks of dark hair..
Just when he was at the end of his patience,God once again became merciful to him..
A strong wind blew out of nowhere,and satisfied,he watched the soft dark locks of hair being blown away from her face..
Slowly the tendrils fell away,and..And Baldev forgot to breathe..
A face like no other came to his view.. Creamy skin,soft lips,a cute pert nose,and eyelids that boasted the thickest and longest eyelashes he had ever seen..
Baldev did not know what to think,and then when she opened her eyes..Baldev felt he was hit right on his solar plexus..
She had the most mesmerizing eyes he had ever seen..
His hand round her waist tightened unconsciously making the girl frown slightly..
But Baldev was unaware of this..He was only aware of getting lost in the dark pools of her eyes..
Minutes passed,and he stared on..
"Aise ghur kiu raha hai mainu?!Kaunsi planet se aya hai?!Ladki dekha nahi pehle kabhi?!Lagta hai jaise kha jayega mainu!Chadd!"
Before Baldev could reply or react to that tart remark,she had squirmed herself free from his lap..
Somehow Baldev could not make himself react immediately,the way he usually did..
He watched dumbstruck as like a storm,the girl got her luggage,hailed a rickshaw,and got into it..
And just as the rickshaw was about to pull away,she looked back at him..
"By the way thank you!For not letting my bones break.."She said softly,and then the rickshaw started moving,and she turned away..
For sometime more Baldev stood still,until the rickshaw took a turn and vanished from his view..
Finally he inhaled a long breath,and a devilish smile came on his lips..
"Iss baar to chadd dia tenu...Lekin agli baar..Tu jo koi bhi hai,Baldev se abh tujhe Bhagwan bhi nahi bacha sakta.."
Muttering this Baldev crossed the road and got into his jeep..He had a new mission in his hand now..He chuckled to himself..His dark eyes twinkling with the mischief in them..
