But how can he do that? His Government will collapse soon after three more Cong MLAs withdraw support. If he doesn't resign before that, that is. 😆

Bingo!! And thats what he wants, a safe escape, with Cong not supporting this bill, he will resign. He is forcing Cong to withdraw support so that he can focus on LS with full force, hence all the populist steps. This is his only chance where he can resign and still be treated as some sort of hero. The blame will be on Cong and BJP for not encouraging a strong bill.

Hmm...a strong possibility. And the 50% electricity bill waiver coming close on heels on this, sort of strengthens the suspicion. If that indeed is his gameplan, then he's a smart cookie.

Thats what he wants!😆

From Day 1 he has been looking for an escape route and if that route could somehow be sold as an honorable one, nothing like it!

Over the 3 cops suspension issue he exhorted people to boycott Republic Day celebrations. As this was a direct assault on the oath he took at the time of swearing in as CM, it was enough ground for dismissal but Yogendra Yadav, upset his calculations by doing his deal with Najeeb Jung and getting an order for cops to be asked to proceed on leave (till Republic Day haha)...😆

If Kejri Nautanki survived, its only because of two reasons:

1. One line of thinking within Congress is Kejri troupe can cut down BJP votes and Congress can only gain in a situation where NDA has lesser seats than it otherwise would have (In LS Polls)!

2. Delhi MLAs of Congress support continuance of this Nautanki so that it gets thoroughly discredited.

There are chaps like Arvinder Singh Lovely & Sandeep Dixit, who would want future Delhi elections to be a referendum between Cong and BJP ony.  Their own calculation is a BJP with chaps like Malhotra, Vijay Goel would be less preferred to a Congress and they would want AAP completely out of the equation!

It all depends on Kejriwal now.

He is extremely capable of U-turns and somersaults and is a master of the art. So no one should be surprised if he suddenly says ,"Jan Lok Pal pe ek raay ban-ne tak, AAP ne faisla kiya hai is mudde pe filhaal ucchal-kood naheen karegi..."!

On the other hand he might feel, THIS, IS THE ISSUE, on which he can go out guns blazing and sell the line to public,"See, main toh karna chaahta thha, ye log karne naheen dete!" 😭

In interest of Delhi, the sooner Kejri gets dismissed the better! AAP should get dismissed, city be under Governor's rule and the state can go for State elections together with the National Polls a few months down the line!🥳

^^Two are playing the game. 😆 So AAP was initially though of as a "two birds with one stone deal"---cut BJP's vote share+make an ass outta themselves and shoot themselves completely in the foot so as to never rise again.
Part A backfired, Part B a partial success. (Kejri will escape unscathed if Congress withdraws support and the blame will get shifted to Congress once more forgetting the whole Bharti-dharna-populism stuff). Honestly, Congress is at a tight spot right now since a majority of the people (read "masses") support the JL. Pulling the rug at this moment would backfire on them and bring "karrapt Kangress" back in focus. 😆 😆Edited by krystal_watz - 10 years ago

for the whole nation being given in hands of AAP is a disaster.. but for delhi he is completely fine.. he is the CM there and we will give him a chance.. let see in another 5 Years what all he does to improve the city , and after evaluating his actions then we can decide whether he is suited for the post of PM or not...
but as for now, I dont think he shud be the PM since he is very new , now and doesnt know much regarding governance...
people have started loosinf faith in him...
he should stop these protests and dharnas ..

actually I think that AAP should split into two, one AAP and one Bharatiya Aam Aadmi Party. AAP and BAAP ðŸ˜†

reminds me of janata party. many of the jan sangh ppl left and formed BJP, and it turned out to be quite a success.

Then expect countless "Baap re baap" and "AAP kiska BAAP ho"-esque lines in all the newspapers. 😛

haha!

Kejri Babu itching to get dismissed.😆

Breaking every possible convention and wants to table his Jan Lok Pal Bill in Assembly, without first presenting it to Lieut. Governor, as he is required to do.

Play to the galleries Babu...Play! 😛

..hope this fellow resigns today.

Ideally he deserves to get dismissed, but as Congress has decided to chuckle at his non-stop Nautankis, it seems he would indeed escape with a resignation!
