Actually, as a stand alone film, I think Dhoom 3 was alright. The acting from the two leads (Aamir and Abhishek) was solid and the storyline was interesting. It had enough twists to keep the audiences entertained. And the songs were alright as well as was the dancing.

But yeah, when compared to the other Dhoom movies, it kinda falls.

The first Dhoom relied on the storyline + John's negative character. The second Dhoom relied on the insanely cool robbery stunts and the suaveness of Hritik's character. The third one was supposed to rely on the circus act and storyline as well I think. The story line was alright, but it kind of dragged a little. And the circus act wasn't as amazing as I thought it would be. I expected a little more.

The first Dhoom was still the most entertaining for me... John was good (for once) in the film... Abhishek and Uday had amazing chemistry... and the movie was stylish yet simple πŸ˜Š

I loved both D1 and D2, but D2's climax was so lame, D1 is the best IMO.
I am yet to watch D3, and after hearing the reviews i guess its more of a Aamir Khan movie than Dhoom. πŸ˜†

Here is what Abhishek thinks, and I agree with him.

Which amongst the Dhoom series is your favourite and why?
(Pat comes the reply) Dhoom 2. Because it has everything " great music, good plot, characterisation, cinematography, locations etc! All three Dhooms are very different from each other and though it's not fair to compare them, I enjoyed doing Dhoom 2 the most!

I havent watched D1 in a long time, Only once when it came so to be honest, i forgot John's part in it.
D2 is still fresh in mind, hence i put D2 as the best movie.
Anyways, with Hrithik and John, i will always pick up Hrithik for obvious reasons :)

But yes, D3 cannot compare to D2.
