 Part 19

The ride to her new home was very short. Her left hand held firmly by her husband, Kalpi stood at the threshold of their home. The parents of Sammy were there to do the welcoming ceremony. The house was decorated for the occasion with orchids and fountains bubbling and gurgling colorful water, very different from the very Indian decoration at the chawl. It was chic and pure. Totally Raghav style. But what touched Kalpi was the presence of Gendha flowers here and there...a subtle reminder of their love and dispute on this so disputable plant.

Raghav and Sammy chatted for a while and Kalpi went to her room to change from the wedding lehenga on the insistence of Raghav who knew how tiring it was to wear this heavy outfit and his frail bride might be exhausted. A few minutes to refresh herself and some private moments might be useful to her.

Kalpi entered her room and held her breath. Candles were lit everywhere, shedding some dim and warm light in the elegantly decorated room. They created a warm, inviting & sensual ambiance to a bedroom. They also provided a mystery...a mystery as to what awaits her tonight. No, she was not scared. The butterflies fluttering and doing a tornado dance in her belly was far from fear. It was excitement, unsuppressed eagerness and anticipation of knowing what she knows not.

She headed for the washroom and changed from her lehenga and wore what was planned by Paakhi! A silver net embroidered saree with a net blouse of crimson colour. She removed the excess make ups and kept it all simple. Nervously, she dabbed some sweet scented perfume on her neck and wrists. The pulse points were the focus. With one last look at herself in the mirror, she took a deep breath and headed out to her room.

The first thing that hit her was the soft music playing in the background, and then she saw Raghav. Her heart skipped some beats as she saw him lighting some more candles on the candelabra. He has changed too from his sherwaani. Now, he wore a black satin shirt, all unbuttoned and a pair of pants lying low on his hips. Kalpi captured this image of his in her mind, to remember for ever as she has never, ever seen Raghav any sexier. Her husband!

She dragged a rushed breath, making Raghav turned around and looked at her. They were standing opposite each other, with the extra large bed between them. Raghav started to come round at the same time Kalpi moved towards him, as if hypnotized.

When they came face to face, Raghav gently pulled Kalpi in his arms and the latter settled there as if a perfect fit. The constant, loud heart beats of Raghav drummed in Kalpi's ear as he tightened his hold.

"I love you Kalpi" he whispered in her ear.

" love you too Raghav" answered shyly Kalpi.

Raghav gently lifted Kalpi and ever so gently laid her on the bed and Kalpi shut her eyes. She was tensed and she knows she was being ridiculous but it was very overwhelming to be in such a situation.

-      Relax Kalpi! Thought Kalpi. Its Raghav after all. You love him and he will never hurt you, you know that!

Kalpi was so tensed that at first she couldn't believe what she was hearing but it couldn't be! Yes, Raghav was laughing at her! So much that he was already turning red around the ears and he was making the whole bed structure vibrate.

"You!!!! You are laughing at me!" Kalpi huffed and caught a pillow and hit Raghav squarely on his rumbling exposed chest. But he caught it on the second blow and in without realizing how she ended up like this...Kalpi found herself lying on her back with Raghav above her, trapped from feet to chest.

"No sweetheart! I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at the fact that I have a blushing wife, such a cute wife who loves me and still, is panicking. I find this very heart warming and awesomely cute." He finished by kissing Kalpi on the tip of her nose.

She smiled and laced her arms around Raghav's neck and brought his face lower so that she could return the kiss too but what she intended wasn't done as Raghav, naughty as he was, shifted ever so slightly that the kiss ended near his upper lip.

He lightly pecked her lips several times and then when he felt the light pull Kalpi was exerting on around his neck, he kissed her full mouth and soon, they were both devouring each other.

Raghav so deftly shed of his shirt and released Kalpi's arms around his neck and dragged her hands down so that they could come closer.

He kissed her neck, her jawline and her cheek while Kalpi had shut her eyes to feel every kiss. She didn't realize when and how Raghav had removed part of her saree and since it started to feel hot and it was indeed troubling her, she helped Raghav to shed away the saree.

All shyness had gone. It was only her and Raghav. Her Raghav. The need, the urgency that she felt was unknown to her but all she knows was that only being with him will give her solace now. Driven by a passion she knew not she possessed, she pulled Raghav back on the bed.

What followed next was the union of two bodies, two souls that became one on that night. Two hearts that have waltzed from a long journey and the dance was not over, not yet.
