I don't know you as Kunal,
but only as Mohan, and will probably continue identifying you with the names of
your characters in future also. I hope, as an actor, you realize the way you
affect the lives of others like me.
Your character-Mohan
Bhatnagar, the crime reporter- came into the TV screen, rousing the curiosity
of those who had got tired of the usual, repetitive, perfect heroes. It was a
treat to watch the serial from the first episode itself. Through the depiction
of life of ordinary people, who dress, speak and behave quite ordinarily, it
succeeded in creating an extra ordinary effect.
Even my late Grandma, who
didn't understand a word of Hindi, loved your encounters with each member of
Vyas family and used to pester me to translate the dialogues- which I used to
do quite happily.
I've never seen any hero onscreen behaving so
casually and seemingly careless, and yet emit a charm, which none of the others
possessed. Mohan was neither the prim and proper, flawless and perfect hero,
nor the brooding type. You made him more life-like- a carelessly handsome guy
who believes in honesty and goodness.
Your casual, yet confident
gait is inimitable - never aloof, but lovable and even respect-worthy at times.
The ever-messy hair through which the lucky ones like Megha and Nanhi gets to
run their hands, the long, adorable nose and the slight downward quirk of your
lips when you are amused, just adds to the charm.
You brought out Mohan's
goodness: honesty, courage, quick-wittedness, caring nature and helping
mentality, and his flaws: short temperedness and spendthrift nature. You
created through Mohan, laughter, adoration and even indignation at times. You portrayed
each scene with such sincerity that I could realize and feel what Mohan was
experiencing, deep inside me: you simply became the character.
One day as I was searching
the internet idly, I finally recognized you as the Angad of Pratigya. I
couldn't believe my eyes, so I double, triple-checked the name of the actor. It
made me look up all the characters you have played so far; and that discovery
left me dumbstruck. I deeply regret not following Left Right Left when it was
aired. Thank God I started watching Hindi channels at least a few years before
Na Bole came!
And it was then I realized
the intricacies of the magic you weave in front of our eyes- your ability to transform
into any character. As Angad, you created utter revulsion, as Yudi, you captured
adoration and as Mohan, you bowled me over completely. You are a rarity- an
actor who managed to bag the lead role and pulled it off excellently, after
being a well-hated villain. If it were in the films, I'm sure your name
would've gone down in history. Still, your name has got engraved in the hearts
of thousands of fortunate viewers and will stay there forever.
In spite of being a
non-Hindi speaker, "arre yaar", "sunna" and "haanaa" have infiltrated my
vocabulary. It was great to watch you making fun of Guru and Renu, sharing
comradeship with Nanhi, laughing aloud or enjoying a chocobar like a child, without
any inhibition and then, making an effort to hide the pangs of love behind
laughter and jokes. Your convincing dialogue delivery never missed to convey
the intended emotion.
All emotions of the
character-be it fury or fear, hurt or humor, repentance or repulsion-reached me
through your medium. You startled me when you exploded in anger, made me yearn
to come for your help when you became desperate and frantic, made me wish to
comfort you when helplessness and remorse engulfed you and made me cry when you
dissolved into tears. The scenes in which you smile through tears created goose
bumps all over my body and burned my throat with a sort of elation-it was an
otherworldly feeling.
The way your eyes light up
with wonder and the way they droop embarrassed is a treat to watch. The
exasperated eye-rolls, mischievous winks and the adorable puppy-dog eyes asking
forgiveness have made their place in the viewers' hearts. And when they burn
with passion, any girl would fall for it and secretly long to be Megha, just to
be the object of your tender, longing or passionate gaze. Not many actors are
blessed with your skill to speak with eyes-eyes that can deliver an intense
dialogue or a light-hearted one equally, effortlessly- without uttering a
single word out of your mouth.
The story of Mohan and
Megha went through ups and downs, reached another season and still went on.
Even though I felt the story losing its essence of subtleness at times, I held
on till the end, compensating it with your enactment onscreen.
Your off-screen
personality too, have influenced me greatly. I had stopped reading for leisure
years ago when my marks began dropping at school. Even after joining college, I
never had the courage to take up the hobby again, lest my attention gets
diverted from my core science subject. After ages, seeing how you pursue
photography along with acting, I began re-visiting my old friends who were
waiting for me patiently in public library shelves. I'm now slowly advancing
from the fantasy reading list to the more real ones, thanks to you.
I thank you wholeheartedly
for playing the role of Mohan. When the life outside was dreary, the world you
created had been a heaven for me and I can assure, for thousands of other
people. Even now, I watch the episodes of season 1 randomly whenever I'm
feeling down. One look at the cute and confused expression on your face is
enough to bring a smile on my face. The belief that "ache logon ke saath
hamesha acha hi hota hai" is strengthened and there is hope to find someone at
least half as good as Mohan Bhatnagar in real life.
The story of Mohan and
Megha will always be cherished by thousands of people all around the world like
me, and will be held up as the school of exemplary acting by those who want to
be actors themselves.
Mohan and Megha's story
has reached an inevitable end. But as someone says, I'm glad that it happened. Even
though I can't follow the language as well as the Hindi version, the Tamil
version will keep me company for some months ahead. I hope your contact with us,

speechless about what to write as we cannot express nbt and the acting
of kunal
karan kapoor "mr.perfectionist and "mrs.simplicity" aakansha singh and

angel ashnoor kaur and reem sheikh . nbt has been a serial to explore
to love and to understand
and is of magic . when this serial was going to start after big boss
season
five and the first promo I saw and I was quite amazed and shocked and
surprised
by the simplicity in it . I had been watching tv daily soaps many time
and all
the time I was disappointed with the rona dhona and the things happeing
again
and all the saas bahu drama this was something different from the
regular and
was a different story o a simple widow and a crime reporter mohan
bhattnagar
who just lived beside her house . the story was quite simple and was
made
special by the extraordinary acting by kunal karan kapoor and aakansha
singh
and ashnoor kaur and whole nbt crew with sunshine productions . I had
never
thought that this show would become a part of my life in future and I
cannot
live without it . the first episode I watched was quite simple but with
the
second episode the story of nbt was fresh and new and was looking that
would
rock the television screens . I never watched daily soaps with so much
passion
but it had become a part of my life . mohan bhattnagar and megha vyas
and there
awesome chemistry . the characters were quite simple but the acting was
magical
and the script to . any show is not magical the actors are magical and
the crew and script is magical and that
was with nbt . nbt was different and the day by day the episode passed I

love with it more and more . mohan bhattnagar and megha vyas was the

kunal karan kapoor made so magical so lively and I never thought that I
am watching a serial
it was so lively and also the rangmunch behind scenes which were just
magical
and the off screen chemistry of kunaksha was growing day by day and the
serial
getting so good day by day . also this show had a special thing which
each show
lacked kunal and ashnoor the most amazing chemistry between a adult and a
child
I have ever seen so good and I was fan of this chemistry . this was the

show lacked and nbt had the awesome chavanni spiderman relation was very
good
and a treat to watch and fabulous acting by kunal karan kapoor and
ashnoor kaur
it was magic created . the laugh the cry and the chewing gum was like
magical

and ashnoor were gems which sudhir Sharma sir had taken out from the
crowd and

ki hum log khud vo experience kar rahe ho . so real acting and so good
legendary . aakansha singh simplicity was the most good part . most of
the
actress with so much make up look so weird and so ugly really but
akansha in her simplicity was so
good and so simple really like the middle class of india . this show had
nothing unreal and everything was so real and so good . the father
daughter duo
and the relation o a crime reporter and widow was so good . and how can
we
forget the side characters . guru the
first wife of mohan caring for his bhaiya so much and their scenes were
awesome
to watch well telling the stories of his parents and all stuff with
mohan masti
with him and chavanni plan with him . jijibua was a woman who
experienced all
things like megha was and was always the
person who use to inspire . well when mohan megha had to meet they meet
because
it was GOD wanted to meet them . also
this show was special because it did not contain saas bahu rona dhona
and was
the first show which emphathised on the
male character more and not on the
female character and rona dhona it was free from many things which all
the
soaps contained .it was different . when mohan megha two different
people met
by fate the story was just awesome and speechless . I sometimes sit
down and think how these
actors do such good acting specially kunal karan kapoor . I was
speechless
really and I am whenever I watched them
. even writing this thing today I am getting nostalgic . in
just five months I was really speechless

becoming more perfect day by day and the little girl ashnoor making me
speechless as the day passed on . nbt
had become a special routine to watch at 10 30 really and I was really
mad for
it and I confess this openly . hats off to the awesome writing by maam
sonal
ganpatra who made the character of mohan legendary and kkk also was the
person
to make it so beautiful . the show was also so good as it had no
negativity to
have and that's why it was liked by so many people in india and more in
countries other than india . I again and again think why do the majority
Indian
audience wants shows with the saas bahu drama why they do not except the
new
shows and that's what happenend with nbt . the trp was less than that of
the
rona dhona shows and colors was not
happy with it as it wanted trp . I also sometimes think that why channel
need
trp why they cannot promote new shows like nbt and make them more and
more good
. colors had done a great job launching the show but later they made a
great
mistake . nbt taught us to love . mohan bhttnagar and megha and nanhi
taught us
love so much anyone that do anything for that person even sacrifice your
life
for it . mohan bhattnagar was an true example . why megha loved him was
due to
this reason only that mohan could do anything for his family and that's
why
megha married him and also fell love with him . mohan bhattnagar is the
person
whom you cannot live far away for much time angry . marriage is not
only all things we have to
prove our love and that is what mohan did and also megha they proved
their loves
for themselves and were magical really someone to fall in love with .
we have heard couples of bf gf bf meeting at the terrace
and all other things but ever you have seen a father meeting his
daughter at
roof or jumping through roof to meet her . this was not in any other
shows .
and that was the difference . the biggest mistake made by colors was
done here
everything was going write and they axed the show because big boss was
coming .
the audience had started understanding the show nd accepting it and they
axed
it that was the biggest mistake and I shall say if they would have not
done
that then nbt and they would have reached new heights . big boss came
and nbt
was axed and then also the acting and script makers made it so beautiful
in the
end with such good acting and script . and special thanks to the songs
which
were just legendary and so awesome that we can listen it whole life but
the
magic would not go . any song picturised on mm and nbt characters was
more good
then picturised on the bollywood actors . the nbt songs became so
powerful that
many websites kept it for users to download and this is what we say as
popularity . the show made such an
influence on the fans of it and fans did so much for nbt that colors had
to
bring a season two . season two started with a twelve year leap and that
was
the biggest ever mistake done to ruin such a fabulous show like nbt .
the leap was of twelve years and ruined the
show freshness . season one was just
perfect but season two was just the growth of actors like kunal karan
kapoor
and akansha singh . nearly half of
audience left watching it and show gained trp because of it new audience
. the
new audience wanted mm scenes and season two was just filled with other
tracks and did not
emphatise on mohan and megha . season
two paved with a old and matured mohan and megha and the relations
changed .
the story was now not fresh at all and was just like formaility of
season two
and what the fans wanted was not there . season one had no negativity
and
season two had that was the main difference season two did not work like
season
one and the magic could not be created again . with new actors like
jayashree
and sid and kanwar the sho0w moved one and nearly have of the time mm
were
separated from each other . the chewing gum and rumall magic had gone
and fans
when saw nanhi going negative against mohan made fans leave the show and
that's
why the show did not gain trp and colors say that it is not gaining trp .

and akansha were fresh actors and . the
whole show was basically on addu the character and fans wanted mm and
this was
a great mistake which made the trp down . the some trp it got was just
by some
excellent acting by kunal karan kapoor and akansha singh and nothing
else and
some beautiful songs . sometimes I wondered nanhi looked even older then
megha
means that was nearly very disappointing
. the new bottle old wine theory
did not work for the producers at all and season 2 was just basically
on addu . addu turning so much
negative made even more the condition worse
. mohan bhattnagar received immense negativity from his son but mohan
bhattnagar was a character which kunal made so alive that I also need
to give hats off to him . nbt season one worked because of its
storyline and awesome acting and season two had awesome acting but the
storyline was flop nearly I can say . the fans off the show were
disappointed
to great extent . manish Gandhi was only
the good find of season two and I would say kanwar was not a bad actor
but his
role was really disgusting . the show went good just because of good
acting of
aakansha and kunal . ashnoor was missed like hell and guru also and
rimjhim was
also very good but not as ashnoor never . the chemistry which kunal and
ashnoor
shared cannot be copied . the show was going bad with the storyline and
when
the directors got some brains to give a revamp the channel decide to axe
the
show . and revamp with again again leap of two years . they made mohan
and
megha very old on the verge of becoming grandpa and grandma . then
revamp with mohan losing his memory and
then megha going . and the character of vasu . my GOD kunal karan
kapoor potrays his character so
nicely and good that even I think how he does this with so much ease and
become
from a character like mohan bhattnagar legendary to vasu bhauu . destiny
had it
own planes that why mohan megha met again . and mohan said write that
megha and
him cannot be made away from each other .
and that what happened megha met mohan memory lost vasu and was shocked
and then how the story shaped with megha realizing that he is mohan and
vasu
also realizing that he is not vasu and mohan . hats off to the
legendary acting done by kunal
karan kapoor and akansha singh and how
they potrayed the characters so well and simple but unique . jatin
Sharma was
an awesome found in revamp just like guru but not guru . in nbt each
character
had its own importance and that what I liked the most . fist vasu was
not loved at all and
considered a chaep character but kunal karan kapoor this actor makes me
speechless every time I see him he made this character to a level like
mohan
but not mohan as I say each character had it own importance . the
revamp was good with a good storyline
but till the time the revamp came the time had gone and channel decided
to axe
the show . the relevation of addu and his mistake was not shown properly
how
can a person change in minutes I cannot undertand it was hard to believe
but
for nbt anything was possible for me . the channel had decided to end it
and
this was the biggest mistake again . nbt season two did not did anything
good
but just the perfection of actors like kunaksha and growing a very
powerful fan
power may be the most strong for any show
I have ever seen in my life . the
show had to end in september 12 2013 the end of a legendary show and
legendary
acting . but the fans do not fell enough and they want justice that
sanskaar
has come with season two then why not
nbt season three . mm relation
will remain forever Mohan and megha relationship will be evergreen
forever .

are made after years and years and the channel not even bothered to

ready to listen

colors do not understands that actors like kunal karan kapoor and akansha singh
are not born and come again and again and if any other channel puts them in
their show and it works very well then colors will regret very much to leave
such gems free . as fan we shall remember nbt forever and ever in our lives and
never forget the magic created and it cannot be created again . the more I
watch kunal and akansha the more I got love with their such extraordinary
acting . one thing more to say that
it is not just the problem of nbt that it has
been closed down and the fans are demanding for a season three but colors not
ready to give as its trp is not good . till now india television has not
accepted such good shows and are still liking the old saas bahu rona dhona
shows in a majority . shows like nbt are
not given by indian audience fast and shows like ssk and bv are given more
importance and this is the main problem . recently launched show 24 is not
gaining as much trp as the show is so inspiring tricky and suspence and evey
minute is unpredictable . this is not the problem of nbt shows like it are
closed as they do not gain trp and the channel wants trp as it is just a
buisness making shows and gaining money and all the other stuff . shows like
nbt are created once and cannot be created again and again and though many
duplicates coming they cannot replace it and even i think that sunshine cannot
create the same magic as it made in season one in the upcoming season if they
come . kunal and akansha and ashnoor and all nbt crew are just perfect . today
tv serials are like with these things

surgery is done so frequently and rapidly as if they have their own
hospital.But it shows a magic too...guess??With the change in the face, one can

comes back in their own family.How on earth is this possible????
Everytime
one or the other person gets ill.The family should do several checkups but they
know only to cry...and cry and cry...And even the doctors say that everything
is in God's hand.Then for what the doctors are???Medical science is so enhanced
and advanced now.

person could do . nbt touched many hears all over the world and I am not
surprised seeing the fans so much struggle for nbt season three and they
want
it at any costs no matter what they have to do but colors is not
listening and
they are suffering . again and again I wonder how kunal and akansha and
the nbt
team did so perfection in their work and every time I hear the songs of
it and
the bollywood songs which were played I remember them and some acting of
them
was even better than bollywood acting .
so perfect so real and now when the bollywood songs play I feel the
lonliness
which is there when nbt is not there but
I shall not cry I shall see towards the pic of them and just remember
them and cherish the sweet memories I have of them such good memories
and also
I shall advice you all not to cry as nbt will remain with us for our
whole

Two years ago a
beautiful relation start between a widow and a normal crime reporter who was

one could love her even more than her previous husband but when she met mohan
and after that a remarkable love story was formed which reached new heights .

makes us go mad for him . though I am a boy then also this actor makes us to
look at him and stare at him all the time . so real acting it never feels he is
acting . it feels like he is just living the character . though I have seen him
for the first time in this serial he makes me go mad seeing him . he makes
laugh , cry dance , jump with himself . he does not need thousands
of words to speak to depict his feelings and just need to words like " arrey
yaar and sunn naa " to make us feel what others cannot feel by speaking
thousands of words . the class and standard of kunal karan kapoor is different
very different from others and he is there to stay in the industry for long
creating history . aakansh singh is also one of the most simple unique actress
I have ever seen . she is so simple yet so elegant fresh and charming . she

best policy " though it was her debut show but it never seemed so that . so
realistic acting by her . she just lived the character . even I should say
every actor in nbt lived the character beat it was dushyant or ashnoor or kunal
or akansha or reem or manish Gandhi . one of the best character I have seen .

ell after Meghan got married some sweet moments that they shared with each other . the honeymoon was
also a treat to watch and much different from other honeymoon ever I have seen
that is with their children ! mohan and megha were different from every aspect
from others . have you ever seen in a love story a father running in his
balconies and jumping from one house to other house to meet his future daughter
! that is what made this love story different and so unique . mohan and nanhi
were joint by hearts forever and ever . the father daughter duo was a treat to
watch . time changed and some rivals like riddhima came again but all were
eliminated . mohan was the first time
saw that somebody was in support with him in his life and that was megha
standing beside him in his difficulties and nanhi too . but life played one
more game and they saw and accident and
mohan got some hurt but megha body was paralysed from neck down but love is the strongest medicine as said by

nanhi also thought that mohan was reason of lost of her small brother aditya . relations changed and misunderstanding came
over the unbreakable unique relation of Meghan . nanhi started hating her
spiderman and mohan got a adopted daughter from guru rimjhim which further
became the reason of mm meeting . nanhi saw mohan and hating him but mohan was
a man from whom nobody could remain angry for much time and nanhi also then
when realized that mohan was right the holy scene was so good and really so

megha thought that mohan would be back with addu but he was not . then mohan
decided to do a program for finding addu and he found addu but addu also played
with him and sent a fake addu who did not knew his identity . but megha and mohan were together again after
they met due to rimjhim and nanhi again and started living . but in the
marriage of nanhi mohan came to know that the real addu was playing a game with
him and he wanted mohan not be with the family so mohan decided to go from
their and as mohan always helped others
he wanted to sacrifice his love for his family . but then megha and rimjhim
stopped him from going and addu tried everything but he could do nothing but
this time GOD had something else from him in his bag for megha love story .
mohan fell from the cliff and megha shouting and the whole family went in grief

was his past is commendable and his asking " puch naa kuch bhi " was so
touching and when he was talking to nanhi and all on laptop and after that his
expression and megha expression simply awesome . the best actors of the world I
have ever seen . mohan and megha moved on and after defeating aai . they moved
on and on and their relation saw some more moments and mohan trying to remember
everything and mohan and rimjhim scene were also just awesome . " dil to wahi
hai " in the serial said was just so
right . mohan was just the most effective actors of Indian telly ever made .
now the love story moved on and megha made addu meet mohan after two years who
was responsible for mohan this condition and he was very arrogant before seeing
mohan alive . he thought that mohan had died and he had won the battle with him
and broke the love story of Meghan but that cannot happen neve ever as their
love is true and so pure that no one can break it ever in life . megha giving
vasu his old clothes meaning mohan clothes which he use to wear . mohan had
turned totally different in his style and totally tapoori style but heart was
same . most of the people can admire seeing when megha requested vasu to come
in his original mohan style and how kunal came in his original mohan style with
specs looking fresh and tieing laces and
wearing specs and then scratching his big hairs and putting them back like
first . after that megha reaction to her love was so realistic and so awesome .
megha seeing mohan in his previous look as if she had got her lost mohan and

his past so he didn't remember about addu . when megha called addu as she was
calling the lost mohan but mohan couldn't remember anything . addu gone made
after seeing mohan he washed his face twice thrice and tried to control himself
and think that what he saw was not true but it was true 100 per cent . he now
knew that he was defeated and mohan megha love had won . addu realized his mistake that mohan and
megha couldn't be done away from each other as their love is so true and so
pure . addu fell in megha feet asking
for maafi and kanwar acting was nice to see . addu was defeated and he asked
mohan and hugged him but mohan couldn't remember anything and addu was also shocked
that why mohan does not recognise him and kunal acting was so emotional and
megha told addu that mohan does not remember anything and has forgotten
everything . addu was shocked to listen to it and impressed also seeing mohan

it was the debut show but she played megha the character and made her

was . she was so elegant and so charming in her simplicity . she proved

is no need of loads of makeup for girls
and they can be more beautiful in being original . she was so harming

though the show ended long time ago nbtians still seeing their dream to
come once again back . its really
difficult and almost impossible to create such magic again , such
characters
and such storyline and I shall say impossible and also to bring all in a
show . and it is
also one truth that all good things come in small packages and have to
end
one day and that happened with nbt but
this is also one truth that " agar aap kisi cheez ko shidat se chahiye
to puri
kainat use aapse milane mee lag jati hai
" and that is what happened with nbt as
ssn 1 coming in tamil and ssn1 coming in Pakistan and also nbt ssn 1 to
be back
on rishtey colors off air shows channel soon . but who knows " umeed pe
duniya
kayam hai " and nbt ssn 3 can be back as some of colors show going off
air next
year . and also I shall be happy with this feeling that " we should not
be
unhappy that it ended but be happy that we were able to
experienced it also in the end some lines some words said in nbt " dil
ko hai shaq magar shayad hum phir
milenge " the most applicable lines for Meghan
as they met again and again and went away and we still have the good
feeling to
see them back again on the television screens
