Jalaal comes to the Diwan - e - khaas and informs everyone of the conspiracy by Sharifuddin and his sister Bakshi Bano's role in that. He says that as a King it is his responsibility to give punishment to the criminal but since Bakshi is his sister he doesn't want to send wrong signal to the Empire that the Emperor was lenient with his sister. So Jodha will pronounce the punishment. Hamida comments that the brother in Jalaal could not overrule the Emperor and hence he has given the responsibility to Jodha. Jodha is confused at this turn of events but he fiorgives BB saying that living with the knowledge of one's guilt is the greatest of punihment. Jalaal severes all ties from BB and sends her away leaving Jodha shocked and heartbroken. She thinks that this punishment by Jalaal is even worse than Death Penalty.
Moti comes running to Jalaal and says that she is very happy that everyone is praising Jodha in the harem. Just then Jalaal comes and asks her why she decided thus. Jodha replies that whatever BB did was coz of her immense love for her husband and the real culprit is not BB but Sharifuddin who took undue advantage of his wife's love. BB is suffering coz no one is with her today-neither her husband nor her brother. She asks Jalaal why he can't forgive his sister and Jalaal says that he doesn't have a heart and he has no relation with his sister. Jodha says that breaking a relation is not so easy n if their relationship of hate and revenge could not be broken then how can he severe blood ties. A drop of tear roles down Jalaal's eyes and Jodha says that as long as he has these tears in his eyes his relationship with his sister cannot be severed. Jalaal leaves and Jodha smiles to herself saying that you do have a heart.
Hamida Bano has summoned all the imp ladies to tne harem and says that not a word should be leaked about this incident. She gives this responaibility to Maham. Maham Anga agrees but says that you cannot stop tongues from wagging in the Empire. How many people will you be able to shut up. Jalaal comes and says everyone. He further adds that Jodha has already suffered so much he won't allow her to suffer any further. He will himself speak to his subjects.
Jalaal calls all his people and addresses them from a balcony of his fort. He informs them that he is not going to father a child and none of his begums are pregnant but he is not childless as his subjects are his children. Everyone has tears his eyes at the end of the address.
Precap: Jodha asks Ruks how much she loves Jalaal and whether she would still love him if he was not the Emperor. Ruks is furious and yells at Jodha.
