Fortress around the heart~ViSa and RaVya FF~Part 36 updated pg 68

Dear friends, this is my first shot at writing a fanfic. This is a ViSa and RaVya fanfic, starting from the current scenario, the fake eloping plan.I have started with Divya's POV, as I feel she is not given much of that on the show. It was just an on the spot fic from my end. Kindly let me know if I should continue.. Thank you for reading! 😊


PART 1

Raj's residence:Sangeet Ceremony

The atmosphere was very festive. The house was decorated with beautiful flowers, it was lit up with lights and lamps. Relatives were enjoying each others' company. There was laughter everywhere, coupled with music and dance. Raj's parents and sisters were enthusiastically taking part in the festivities, oblivious to the fact that their son/brother was planning to elope tonight, leaving them homeless and penniless.

This would be one of the best days of life for any bride. But the fake smile plastered on Divya's face, said otherwise. Divya was pondering over her conversation she had with Sarita, earlier that day. Would Raj really stoop that low? Would he cheat his mother into signing the ownership documents of the house and elope? The Raj she loved would not. But this Raj, she did not know what to anticipate from him next. She questioned herself...What was she waiting for? Or rather who was she waiting for? For Raj to return to his senses and come back to her? Why is she even dressed up? For Raj to leave her at the last moment and for her to face humiliation and pain? She knew that the love she still has for him is what was making her give this one last chance to him. She realised that the game she and Sarita played in getting Raj back to his senses had severely backfired. Yet the fool that she was in loving Raj, hoped one last time, that he would change for the better.

With these thoughts running in her mind, she went in search of Raj when she didn't spot him yet at the funtion. She gently knocked on his bedroom door. When there was no response, she pushed the door to find it unlatched. She called out to him. There was no answer. She called out again, a little louder this time "Raj, arebyou there?" Again silence greeted her. As she turned around to leave, she found an envelope on the study table, with her name on it. She knew that what she dreaded, had happened after all. As she approached the table, she felt dejected and a sense of hopelessness enveloped her heart. That was when the first of many tears rolled down her cheek.

PART 2
Vikrant's residence

An eerie silence was set around the house, in complete contrast to another house halfway across the town. Vikrant was seated in a rocking chair with a peg of cognac in his hand. For a normal person, he appeared calm. But his eyes reflected the anger and rage he felt deep within his heart.

There were many unanswered questions running in his mind. How could she do this? She was planning to elope? Is this why she was acting nice towards him and his son, so as to cover her tracks? Oh god, Abhi! His sweet and innocent Abhi! He was scared to even think of the devastation that his son would face. How would he explain that his selfish mother left him for her own happiness? He even confessed to her that Abhi was in a delicate place and he will not be able to take any more shock or grief. How could she be so heartless to not think of his innocent little boy? Giving him hope and dashing it away the next instant? And boy was he an even bigger fool, to have gone and fallen in love with her? How could he have been so blind, to have trusted her completely? He hated himself for it.

He recollected the conversation that he had eavesdropped on earlier that day. Sarita was on the phone agreeing to meet Raj at Gandhi Nagar Chourasta at 1 o'clock in the morning.

He was going to avenge being cheated on and was going to ensure that justice was served. For that he needed to punish the cheaters. He was VIKRANT SURYAVANSHI, and no one would get away by cheating him! With these thoughts in mind, he was constantly eyeing the revolver that he had placed on the table before him. He picked it up, tucked it in his waist band and slowly walked towards his car.

He was foolish enough to let sarita penetrate the carefully built fortress that was around his heart. It was time to resurrect it! Thinking so he started the engine, driving towards the place where his wife was currently meeting her ex-husband..
