CID Written Update - ACP Murder (Aired on 19th October, 2013)

Scene 1

ACP Pradyuman reaches the venue of his friend's son's birthday party. The son and his friends takes photographs with ACP and offers him food and drinks. While his friend goes to bring him a coffe, he talks to Daya on phone. He says he would be joining them soon during their mission to catch the wanted criminal Vidhaan. So, when his friend comes with the coffee, he takes it along and leaves. While he was about to ride his car, he notices a masked person in the side mirror who was about to shoot him. He turns and the shooter misses his aim and shoots him on his shoulder. Inspite of ACP throwing the coffee mug towards the shooter's face, the latter manages to escape before others arrived.

Scene 2

On the other side, the rest of team headed by Abhi-Daya catch a group of criminals after a shootout. However, Vidhan was not yet found. They take them all into custody.

Scene 3

Daya, Freddy, Rajat and Purvi visit ACP at the hospital. The doctor informs them that he was out of danger. They update ACP about the shootouts and ACP too tells them that the shooter was a girl, because he had heard her scream when he had thrown the coffee mug at her. He suggests that this incident must have had some connection with their mission of catching Vidhan. However, they wonder how could anybody come to know about ACP's plans of attending the party as it was a secret. Also, Vidhan's right hand man, Jagan was also found dead in a jungle.

Scene 4

Salunke informs the team that he had found samples of dynamite inside Jagan's nails. He must have been staying around a bomb factory. Salunke adds that the blood samples found on the back seat of the car where Jagan's body was found, have been tested. The results proved that it belonged to a girl of 25-30 years of age. On being asked about the chewing gum samples found in the same car, Salunke tells them that it belonged to a 3^rd man. So there must have been another man in the same car.

Scene 5

ACP's friend and his son visits ACP at the hospital. The son says that he had told his friends about ACP coming to his party at the health camp organized by him and his friends.

Scene 6

AT the bureau, Abhi-Daya, Purvi discuss about the case. They wonder what Vidhan was about to do next.  Vidhan had started arms smuggling once again and so they were worried if he was planning to do something dangerous in the city. In the meantime, Daya receives a call from Rajat. He is informed that ACP has left the hospital in order to investigate the case. Here, Freddy and Pankaj find information that Jagan was last seen at Shaanbaad. So, Abhijeet decides to visit Shaanbaad.

Scene 7

ACp, Daya, Rajat visit the medical camp. Akshit's friends confirm that none of them had shared the news with anybody else. They wonder if it was any of the patients who must have heard about ACP visiting the party too. So, they ask to bring the list of patients name who had visited the camp at when Akshit had made the announcement. They find just 3 names.  Reading the list of names, one of the doctors remembers a weird incident. He tells them about one of the patients named Kamla. She had reacted in an odd manner when she had heard ACP's name. The doctor also adds that she was very nervous, didn't seem to belong from the village and had also hesitated from telling them her name.

Daya tells ACP that there were only 2 ways to come to this place, one from Mumbai and the other from Thane. The car with Jagan's body was found on the Thane road. In the meantime, Daya notices an old lady listening to their discussion from a distance.

Scene 8

At Shaanbad, Duo visit the place where Jagan was seen for the last time. The man at the workshop tells them that he used to come to visit Kundan, one of the workers at his shop. However, Kundan himself had disappeared since the last few days. A young boy sitting nearby was listening to the conversation. As soon as the man calls him to give further information about Kundan, he tries to run away. Nikhil catches him. He confesses having helped Kundan in giving him keys of a car so that he could go to Mumbai with Jagan. He also adds that he had heard Jagan telling Kundan about staying in a workshop at XYZ place(don't remember :P). About the girl, the boy says that her name was Diya and she lived in the same locality. He takes the team to her house.

Scene 9

At Diya's house, her parents acts a little weirdly and avoid telling them the truth about Diya's whereabouts. They also don't tell them clearly about their younger son Chetan and refuse to know Kundan or Jagan. Abhijeet and Daya notice some photographs of Diya with revolvers. The parents inform them that she was a state level shooting champion.

Scene 10

At the Bureau, ACP wonders why would someone like Diya run away with a mechanic like Kundan, that too with Jagan! They suspect Diya's parents behaviour. Freddy comes with the sketch of the girl who had asked about ACP at the medical camp. It was none other than Diya. ACP remembers that he had hit her with the mug, so she must have visited some hospital or clinic after being injured. So, he asks to enquire about her at every clinic or hospital. Also, he asks Freddy to search for a old bomb factory in XYZ locality (the place about which Jagan had told Kundan).

Scene 11

Rajat finds the clinic where Diya had come after being injured by the coffee mug. The doctor says that Diya had refused to get admitted because she was in a hurry. Rajat and Freddy suggest that she must have plans to attack ACP Pradyuman again.

Scene 12

Duo visit the bomb factory at XYZ place. They find many explosive elements and also some make up elements- false hair, saree etc.. something strikes Daya and he asks for Kundan's photograph. He recalls having seen an old lady at the medical camp and realize that it was none other than Kundan dressed up as an old lady. It meant Kundan was constantly keeping an eye on ACP.

Scene 13

ACP is eating his dinner at his home, when a masked girl enters his house silently. After sometime, the security guard outside the house hears a gun shot and hurries inside the room only to find ACP's dead body.

Scene 14

Reporters come to CID bureau to get more information about ACP's death. The team asks them to leave them alone in these difficult times and tells them that they would be updated about the murder very soon.

Scene 15

Diya visits a fort where her younger brother Chetan was kept by Vidhaan's gang members. She pleads to let her brother go but Vidhan decides to kill them both. Also, she is shocked to see Kundan too on Vidhan's side. Before Vidhan could shoot her, CID team arrives. A fight continues for some time and finally the team catches VIdhan, Kundan and other members. ACP tells them how he and his team had caught Diya before she could kill ACP. However, when they had come to know about Chetan being kidnapped, they decided to spread the fake news of ACP's death.

Confession : Kundan says he had killed Jagan because Jagan wasn't letting him make plans to kill ACP. He didn't approve of the idea inspite of all the money that was being offered to them. Thus, he killed Jagan. He used Diya as she was a great shooter and also didn't have any criminal record. He had kidnapped Chetan for the same reason, so that Diya could be forced to do the job. ACP gives the phaansi dialogue.
