Saras reaches the place where Kusum is held. He goes inside and hears a few men talking. He hides behind some boxes and sees Kusum tied up in the corner. Those men look at her viciously and laugh. She gets scared. The goons start walking towards her when suddenly Saras jumps at him and starts fighting. Kusum gets happy to see him. He trashes them and releases Kusum. He asks Kusum if she is okay and she looks at him and wants to hug but suddenly Pramad enters clapping and laughing evilly. He enters and says, "Kya baat hai Saraswatichandra! Maanna padega apni mehbooba ko bhi aise hi bachaaya tha na tune? Aur aaj iss Meera ko bhi bachaane aa gaya! Par ek baat bata, agar tu sach mein Kumud se pyaar karta hai toh iss hisaab se toh yeh teri saali hui... ek ke saath ek muft chahiye kya tujhe?" Kalika comes and says, "Chote seth woh kehte hai na, saali aadhi gharwali!" and laughs. Saras is disgusted by this and Kusum feels bad.
At home, Danny, Kumari, and Kumud are worried sick for Saras and Kusum. They keep calling them but no one answers. Kumud thinks that Pramad must be behind all this. She gets worried even more with that thought. She expresses her concern and Danny ask him to not worry as Saras is out there looking for Kusum. He tries to call him once again. Saras feels his phone vibrating in his back pocket. While Pramad is talking he takes his phone out and press the answering button. Danny is about to say something when he hears Pramad talking. Pramad continues his nonsense about divorcing Kumud and taking revenge. He tells them that the plan was to kidnap Kumud and destroy her forever but his idiot goons kidnapped Kusum instead and brought her to this old factory near the village. Danny realizes that Pramad is again going to harm Kusum and Saras the way he tried to kill Kumud and Saras. He cuts the call and is about to leave when Kumud asks him where he is going. He doesn't tell her what he heard and says, "Mein bhaiyaa ko dhoondne ja raha hun. Unhe meri help chahiye hogi toh issi liye." Kumud wants to go too but he asks her to relax and stay at home incase anyone wakes up. Kumud asks him to be careful. He leaves. On his way he calls the police and tells them about the factory and asks them to get there as soon as possible.
At the factory Pramad decides to kill Saras and Kusum so that Kumud will be shattered to know that her soulmate Saras and her loving sister got killed because of her. He gets the gun out and asks Saras not to act smart. He says that he would first kill Kusum. He is about to pull the trigger when a bullet fires and hits Pramad's hand. The police arrives at the scene and arrests Pramad and Kalika. Danny comes to them and asks them if they are okay. They say yes. The police takes Saras and Kusum's statement and decide to charge Pramad with attempted murder. They take him and Kalika away. Saras, Kusum, and Danny take a sigh of relief. Kusum thanks Saras for saving her. Saras smiles and says, "Kumud ko inn sabke baare mein pata nahi chalna chahiye warna usse bohot dukh hoga. Aaj hi usse apni muskaan vaapas mili hai, mein uss muskaan ko kahi nahi jaane dunga." They agree and leave.
At home, it's around 2 am and Kumud is dead scared. She and Kumari are frantically moving left to right looking at the door and at the clock again and again. Kumud decides to go look for them by herself. She is about to leave when the three of them enter. Kumud and Kumari see Kusum in the messy state and run to her and hug her. Kumud makes her sit on the sofa and asks Kumari to get the water. Kumari quickly goes and brings the water. Kusum and Saras drink it. Kumud looks at Saras and he is injured a bit in the fight. She says, "Pramad ne kiya na yeh sab? Woh leke gaya tha na tumhe uthaake?" Kusum and Danny are shocked to hear this but Saras is not surprised. He says, "Sab theek hai Kumud.. Ab tumhe chinta karne ki koi zaroorat nahi!" Kumud says, "Zaroorat hai! Meri wajah se uss din tumhaari zindagi khatre mein pad gayi thi aur aaj Kusum ki. Mere ek galat faisle ki saza mere apno ko mil rahi hai... Please mujhe maaf kardo! Maine kabhi nahi chaha tha ki meri wajah se tum logo ko takleef ho!" Kusum hugs her sister and says, "Aapki wajah se kuch nahi hua didi. Aur ab kuch hoga bhi nahi kyunki police usse aur Kalika dono ko girftaar kar ke le gayi. Aur rahi baat mere mushkil mein padne ki toh mein aapke liye, aapki khushi ke liya kuch bhi karne ko taiyaar hun. Hum sab aapse bohot pyaar karte hai didi. Aap bas ab hamesha khush rahengi! Bina kisi darr ya chinta ke!" Kumud looks at her little sister and hugs her. Kumari says, "Ek minute.. mein bhi aai!" She sits on the sofa and all three sisters hug happily. Saras puts his hand around Danny and they smile seeing the sisters happy.
Kumud asks Kusum to go inside and get some rest. Danny says, "Itani tension mein mujhe toh kaske bhookh lag gai. Kumari khaana do na!" Kumari says, "Raat ke 3 baje isse khaana chahiye! Bhookkad ho tum ek number ke. Chalo!" They leave. Kumud and Saras smile seeing them. Kumud asks to do first-aid and Saras smiles at her and agrees. She takes him to his room. Kusum sees them from a distance. She sees her sister happy like this after such a long time. She goes to the mandir and says, "Didi aur Saras ko ek lambe intezaar ke baad unki khushiyan wapas milne wali hai. Mujhe shakti dena ke mein unke pyaar aur khushiyon ki raksha kar sakoo!" She closes her eyes and tears roll down her cheek. She wipes them off, smiles, and goes to her room.
Saras has a big scratch on his forehead and his right hand is bruised due to the fight. Kumud brings the first aid box and sits on her knees in front of him on the floor and makes him sit on the bed. Saras asks to do it on his own but Kumud holds his bruised hand gently and starts cleaning his wounds. She does not look at him. Saras feels a little sting and Kumud gently blows air on it. Saras looks at her. Without looking at him she says, "Pata hai Karwachauth wali raat ko jab tum Dubai ja rahe the na tab tunhaare jaane se pehle se hi mujhe tumhaare vaapas aane ka intezaar tha. Vishwas tha k tum zaroor vaapas aaoge. Jab tumne aane se inkaar kar diya tab bhi yakeen tha ke tum zaroor aaoge fir chahe woh ek pal ke liye hi kyun na ho. Shaadi ke madap mein tumhaare aas-paas hone ka ehsaas bhi hua aur fir jab Saraswati Ma ki paayal mili toh woh vishwaas hakikat mein badal gaya. Jab katha vale din tumhe dekha toh dil kiya ke tumhaare paas daud ke aa jaau.. lekin mere kadam uth hi nahi paaye yeh sochkar ke agar yeh koi sapna hua aur mein ladkhadakar gir gayi toh fir sambhal nahi paaungi. Par jab tumne meri dhaal bankar mujhe bachaaya toh ek sukoon mil gaya mere dil ko." She applies the band-aid and starts cleaning his head wound. She continues, "Tumhaare wahan rehne se mujhe shakti milti thi, meri zindagi thodi bohot jee ne laayak ban jaati thi. Gusse mein hi sahi par tumse apne dil ki har baat khul ke keh paati thi. Un ajnabee logo ke bich ek tumhi toh the jo mere apne the. Tum har pal saaye ki tarha mere saath chale meri raksha karne ke liya aur maine hi tumpe haath uthaaya!" She puts a band-aid on and looks at him and says, "Meri vajah se tumhaari jaan khatare mein aa gai... agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh mein..." and she breaks down. Saras says, "Jo dukh meine tumhe diya uske saamne meri takleef kuch bhi nahi hai Kumud! Mein har roz ek maut marta tha jab tumhe chot pohchti thi. Ab agar tumhe meri vajaah se dard hua toh mein mar jaaunga!" Kumud quickly puts her hand on his mouth. They get lost into each other's eyes. She sees his eyes full of pain and touches his face. He feels her soft hands and gently runs his left hand on her waist. She feels it and they come closer. He rests his head against hers and she closes her eyes. The time stops to let them embrace each other and cold breeze touches them gently. Kumud's hair touches his face. He opens his eyes, runs his fingers on her face, and tucks her hair behind her ears. She feels it and smiles; her eyes still closed. He takes her hand, still holding her waist with the left hand, and kisses it. She opens her eyes and they have an eyelock. Suddenly they come to their senses. Kumud gets up and so does Saras. He is still holding her hand with one hand and her waist with the other. She steps back... his hand slowly slips from her waist and his hand from hers. She runs away without looking back. He looks on. Time starts running again...
She runs to her room and closes the door. Her heartbeat is still running faster with the feel of his touch. She doesn't know whether it was right or wrong but she knows that her feelings for him are resurfacing again. She looks at her hand that he kissed, and without thinking twice about right or wrong, smiles and hides her face in it. Saras in his room realizes what just happened and feels his love for Kumud. He is puzzled as he knows that this might raise the questions that he won't be able to answer but then recalls Kumud's words... "Agar tum mere saath ho toh mein sab se lad lungi!" and smiles. Kumud in her room decides to start her life from where she left off. She takes her phone and takes her picture and messages it to Saras with a few lines...
"Adhoori zindagi, Adhoori khwahishein,
Adhoore hamaare ehsaas hai...
Adhoori reh gayi thi jahaan se yeh zindagi,
Ab wahi se karni ek nayi shuruaat hai!"
Saras sees the message and happiness fill every corner of his heart and soul. They both look outside and as the light of the new morning awakens the world, they both decide to put their past behind and fulfill their dreams and start their story from where they left off!
