Riya Mukherjee, whenever I even TRY to write anything about this character , I cant help but feel this sad void.  Her character was easy to love, and it shall remain one of my very favourite character.

I have liked Sana from Kitni Mohabaat Hai days , and well one of the reasons I started with Arjun was her.

So yeah about Riya, from her first episode to her last..I have had always liked her so much. She had simplicity, innocence , but also a kickass attitude and would answer back when she thought anyone was wrong.  In a way she was any girl next door, but there was a few things which made her stand out...She wouldn't shoot not because she was not a good shooter, but case she cared..cared enough to take some one's life, she was the one to give her life for her country..now how many people have the courage to do that ??? She was an inspiration, a hero.

Her relationship with the whole team was so endearing. Her friendship with Shree and Chotu had to be the cutest part of the show. They way the cribbed about their seniors but also respected them a lot. All their teasing all the fun they had, and all the times they stood up for eachother. *sigh* my cute trio was never the same...

With Rathore there was a sense of respect from her side, and support and guidance from his side. I still remember this tiny scene with him jocking with her about her shooting skills.

Then coes Arjun Riya..our ArIya , what should I say about them..from their very first scene the spark the magic was BANG ON! Their relationship..was well complicated, I don't think I can express it in words. No they were not lovers or friend, but they had this bond of compassion which made them so special. Each tiniest scene of them have been so memorable.

Riya Riya Riya, she shall be always alive in our memories, her red clip, her dimpled smile, her statistics..I can never forget those.

Arjun, the show for me was never the same without her, and it can never be.

Like Shaa told that Sana was the life of the show, and I couldn't agree more than that.

I wish Riya was there, I wish we had that chace, that one possibility..

*sigh* will always miss you Riya, and Sana in the show..

And I still shed a tear every once in a while

And even though it's different now

You're still here some how

Girl fabulous thread... Good work all :)

The only girl in the ETF showed and made us believe in Girl power... She will be forever missed.
She was the following:

Like everyone I was saddened by the death of Riya Murkerjee, she gave a lot to this country in order for it to survive.

Riya was a beautiful human being she cared for others and could not hurt

a fly as she was sacred of killing others for no apparent reason a fear

that made her look weak but yet she remained strong. She showed the

true meaning of "Girl power" as she was then the only girl in the ETF

squad; as I say now, "do not un estimate the power of a comman woman."

Riya was a comman woman with dreams; she wanted to keep the world save

that I guess why on would you join the ETF?

She was loved and in

return was waiting to be loved but she did not know then that there are

people out in this world who knew nothing about her; loved her for what

she was a human being, a saviour.

Her passing left a void of memories which are still alive today as we

love her so much.

Riya Malhotra, shall be forever in our hearts.

Is there any other word I could say , except.. I miss her!!
She will be always missed! 😔
Everytime when her fave comes in front of me, this one word escapes, If you would be there.. I miss you.
That was the first scene when I saw You holding a gun peeping at something.. And later the fight with him.. And then your ranting.. That was enough for me to love you forever..
Whatever that was.. That was something, and still after one year , only one word escapes from peoples mouth, that they miss you!!
I miss you .
May be it was true,
sometime second chance even fails.
Riya Mukharjee, the lady was shown as the symbol of sacrifice. Was there any bttter example to proof that! No!!
No one can replace you Riya. No never..
We would love to keep that void place only for you in our heart..

Hmm what shall i say about this girl..!! the reason i started watching arjun... her chemistry with everyone specially arjun was so awesome.. that it attracted me towards it  and before i knew i was   head over heals in love with arjun...

               The character RIYA was brilliantly written .She was a character every girl can relate too. She touched everyone's heart. In two months she won everyone's heart.She was both an innocent girl and a mature woman. She was a cop with a soft heart .That was her biggest strenght.She was an expert in martial art. She can beat any criminal who dare to come infront of her.But this same girl used to get emotional and cry when she talked with the victim's family. She can relate to their pain. She wanted to prevail justice but she didn't like shooting any criminals. Cause she never wanted to take anyone's life. It was Arjun who made her realize that when she shoot a criminal she don't take a life instead by shooting them she save people's life.. She was just like any other girl. Just like any other girl she used to cry watching her favorite hero dying in movie. Whenever anyone used to judge her for being a girl or being a newbie in field job she used to shut their mouth by her work . Sometimes she used to irritate her bosses by her percentage talks.She shares great relation with her team mates be it Shree Chotu Rathore or The Angry Cop Rawte. She used to respect her bosses Rathore and Rawte both a lot.She bond with Shree and Chotu was awesome. They used to hang out together tease each other.She was successful to create a small space for her in Arjun's heart. She brought smiles in Arjun's face.
   27th October, 2012 was the day Riya Mukherjee sacrificed her life for her country. That was one of the most painful days of my life. Her death was totally unexpected by us.Her last lines still made me cry.Especially the line she said to Sameer,"Main jina chahti hu sir."Her last line to Arjun,Pyar ka dard sirf wo hi samajh sakta hai jinka pyar adhura reh gaya hai". That made me wonder if she had fallen in love with Arjun.
Her dead was shock for me. When she took her last breath I could not believe she died. I thought something miracle will happen and she will again start breathing. I was crying sobbing. My heart was paining. It felt as if someone close to me died. I never cried like that for any fictional character. I was emotionally very much attached to Riya.Watching the show was painful without her. She died in the show but she will be always alive in our heart. We love U Riya and always will.
And love Sana for playing this character so beautifully. She made Riya so lively. No one can play Riya like her.
