Happy First Wedding Anniversary Saif-Bebo! Exactly a year back, they became man and wife
Saif regarding insecurity:
"Sometimes some people might be important professionally, but that might lead to insecurity or jealousy in your relationship. Which is normal. In time you learn that it's not the best idea to go on and on about someone else, in any profession. If you're married to Sachin Tandulkar for instance, you dont go on and on about Brian Lara...it might be annoying"

Share your experience of being a bride.
Being a bride is like a dream come true for every girl. It was like a fairytale for me. Everything felt magical.
Were you a bag of nerves?
It's surprising that I wasn't nervous. I was excited throughout.
What happened on your big days? Sangeet, Wedding, mehendi, pheras, reception?
It was the best experience of my life as all my loved ones came together for my happiness. Everyone from my family and friends let their hair down and had a great time. Though the planning was chaotic and at first it was overwhelming but by the end of it everything was worth the effort.
They say a bride never gets to enjoy her own wedding, her bridesmaids do. Is it true?
The entire process was pretty hectic but the fact that my loved ones were all around me made the experience memorable. I am happy that so many people showed how much they cared for me.
What tips do you recommend for to-be brides?
Basic tip would be, try not to stress and live the moment. Enjoy the time you are in and don't over think. It will stress you out more.
What was your state-of-mind on D-day?
I had mixed emotions. I was anxious, nervous and excited.
Do you think you made a pretty bride?
I don't know if I did. But this wedding was my dream wedding.
"We wanted my children to be a part of the rituals" - Saif Ali Khan
How easy is it for the children? At the back of your mind, somewhere, you'll have the question: How comfortable are they going to be? Did you have to handle any awkward silences?
In a modern relationship today, you have these situations which are not textbook. But if there's love and understanding, people grow together, grow comfortable. If it wasn't a comfortable situation, comfortable enough - the fact that they were there at the wedding, and quite happy to be there, says it all. And they played quite an important part in the wedding. Ibrahim held the ring for me, Sara held the garlands. I wanted them, and Kareena wanted them, to be very much a part of things. That was something that we had worked our way towards in our relationship.
When you enter a formal relationship at this age, that's the one you're going to grow old with...
Yes, exactly! Well put. Earlier, when you're in relationships, you're like, let's see how things happen. But when you're at this stage, it's like, this is it, I'm going to grow old with this person. Phew! Everything's lovely about it.
