Hello to all BALH Members,
I am still new around this forum and trying to get acquainted, but there have been a few issues floating around so I figured it's better to address it all at once on behalf of the Development Team.
There is a lot of frustration with BALH track at this point I gather, and so I can understand the the need to vent. There was a Frustrations Thread started a while back and members are welcome to use that to complaint and vent.
Attacking and Bashing
Personal Attacks or Bashing is NOT Allowed here at any time. That goes for Members, Actors, Characters, Producers and Dev. Team Members. There has been a lot of personal attacks against members going around in the forum.
If you have issues with a member please PM a Dev. Team Member and we will look into the matter. Do not make it a forum issue. Also please realize that while we moderate the forum as Dev. Team members it does take some time to respond and look into the matter. So please have patience. If you do not like someone else's post you are welcome to argue your point and have a healthy discussion, but making personal attacks on the person or character is not allowed and will result in Warning Level being raised.
Same goes for Bashing. Complaining about the story track or critical analysis based on an actor's portrayal or the current story is allowed as long as there is no bashing involved. Anything considered derogatory or hurtful is considered bashing. Simple rule on this is to follow the old adage "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Regardless if its an actor, character, or member or Dev. Team member. If you are fan of an actor/actress you wouldn't like someone bashing the actor/actress so then respect the same boundaries for others.
Due to the current track there seem to have been a lot of changes in casting. Please do not compare actors as that often leads to bashing and arguments. If you have a preference for one actors portrayal over others because of they way they emoted a character you are free to state your opinion but name calling and bashing again will NOT be tolerated.
Last note, there is a thread for posting Facebook/Twitter posts.
Please post any information or news attained from those social media in that thread, but please remember any discussion or attacking that takes place on other social media sites such as FB, Twitter or Tumblr are not related to IF and can not be moderated. Also do not use the medium as a source of creating derogatory posts or bashing or attacking a member/actor/character/production house/Dev. Team Member.
The BALH Development Team will assume that each and every member of this forum has read, reviewed and understood the post and it's contents. These are not new rules and are expected to be adhered to. Anyone violating the above rules will have their WL raised effective now.
