The episodes you are watching there mj will save dadu ( kala's dad) and will take care of his grandfather but in recent episodes of ebi now dadu has died. All the members of house are suffering now because of kala but house members thinking that Tara had made them suffered. Kala blackmailing Tara.
Yes if kala dad had given or shown a little love and affection for kala then might be kala was a kind hearted person. 😉
